hell yea, if it isnt rusting all apart. Parts are cheap for them. Easy to work on.

You should put a turbo on it.

it does have rust under the gas filler on the drivers side. Not all the way through. Do you want to sand it and spray paint it for me? That would be great k thnx

The 3.4 Was a great motor, most if not all of its problems come from lack of maintenance. 215hp out of a N/A v6 in the early 90s was great power, hell the 3800 was only making 160hp when it came out.

I'm biased but I loved my 98 Z. I might have posted pics when I first signed up. Probably not a surprise what I upgraded to. Solid car. Likes to warp rotors. Gas door rust is very typical. Comfortable and decent power/mod potential as I'm sure the 3800 guys could tell you.

Shit for 750 I would buy it. I LOVE mine. I have over 180k on it and still going strong. the only issues I had were at 136k when I did not pay attention to the check engine light. That was a 2k repair. The other are correct about parts availability and ease of repair. I get 26MPG in mine running regular gas if I am easy on the pedal and about 22 when I go WOT on the interstate. If this will be a daily driver first thing would be to replace the rotors and pads (go ceramic from AutoZone lifetime warranty) ever sense I did that mine have not warped. If it has the original mufflers on them replace them they are probably creating too much back pressure. The OEM one for the Z34 will provide you plenty of power and be quiet ride, others have gone Borlas (like me) or flowmasters. Get it a tune-up and make sure that your PCM tune is up to date. There was a recall on the 3800, but nothing detrimental. They wanted to put a replacement clip to route some hoses I think. All in all it should be a great driver.

no not yet. The car is completely fucked up in the front driver side. Maybe an axle. The abs light is on, the ac is not working, so I don't know it might be a bigger headache than its worth

ABS light could be a wheel bearing/speed sensor.

Well I think the front left is shot. Its making an awful noise, like the axle is toast.
