yea im gonna keep them, next time you are over, ive got the lifters in a bag and the stock cam migth still be on fire...
for those wanting to know, hk's new (ordered in the last year) RM dbl set is ready for final grinding and final install. rm bought out jp for the better two piece crank sprocket/OP drive the crank gear id was alot closer than past sets and only required minor touchup to drive it on the crank.
once the crank gear was cut to the proper chamfer to clear the crank fillet, proper alignment requires .022" taken off the thrust pad of the cam gear...that officially puts the range ive done at .030-.022 and yes this calculation takes into account the cam and crank endplay.
tomarrow out comes the mockup stuff and the new trans gets a coat of paint, etc etc, whatever else we manage to get done or not done

honestly, i have no clue how that shits gonna come off... i might bring the heatgun and a plastic scrapper... gah, i forgot about all that crap along with some of that insulation on both sides, you can see some of it in the pics

3.29 1", red/extra clutches, shafts, c-yaaa buddy lsd. converters being built now.
the statama headers wont fit the 80e without more work than i already had to do
lotta $$$ in it so we'll see how long it'll last lol

summer is the busy time for me at work, i have 3 jobs on the bench and 2 weeks to get em done 2 stories of stairs/stringers/railings that have to get galvenized and two more 10 ton sand molding machine bases....at least the third week im off work

We all have lives outside of working on this car... at best maybe 6-7 hours a weekend on average. I know most people are like WTF, why is it taking so long? Well it isnt a "kit" no where CLOSE, its all custom outside of the trans and block
Sorry for the build being so slow, if you would like to personally tackle every little custom piece that this thing needs with a crew from AMS or the like, then that would be awesome... engine has been completely torn down and now being rebuilt... waiting on a custom machine cut on the roller gear then everything can go back together
if i wanted to drop 5k on JUST a stattama turbo kit after all the upgrades, without a built trans, yea that would have been fun... forget a z7 kit
this thing is gonna be done right the first time, i enjoy hanging out in the garage with my friends and sharing some laughs while working on multiple projects... even when my car is done it probably wont be the fastest regal that comes out of that garage this summer

kevy ill call ya but we need to hash out this weekend i may be stuck working a partial day to get half this project out to get galvanized
