I want to do another Cherokee, but I'm thinking a street-rod route rather than the lifted thing that everyone else does. Pop in a LSx or a newer Hemi and call it a day. Doubt anyone makes lowering springs, and I would rather not have to resort to cutting down/flipping the stockers. Would be something different, and I think would looks kind of cool IF done right and not have the wheels sticking way out...Kind of like this minus the trip down the stick-on Pep Boys aisle and wheel spacers.

ive wanted to do this with my current jeep. drop a 6.1l hemi into it and have a super sleeper. the problem is the newer hemi engines cost a fortune.:angrys00ls:

You and I are looking for the exact same thing.

There's a ton of them out there... there's 4 running at manheim tomorrow that i'm going to check out. should be able to get one there for about 2,500-3,000. Other than that, i've got a few CL ones that i'll be checking out. I sold my suburban, and I need one vehicle as a private owned vehicle for my insurance, all my other cars are run through my dealership, but i still need to be insured as a driver for it all to work lol.
