the only expense i am personally asking for is $5/person (if you attend 1 or 2 days)...$10/person (if you attend 3 days). this way it will help me topay for the brats/burgers/hotdogs/buns/chips/soda for each cookout.

It's just a cruise, it's something to do on a Friday night. Theirs more than just pos hondas, I mean their are plenty of worthy cars. The only people that really wanna show off by racing are the little high schoolers in their hondas. The people I cruise with just drive around, stop at culvers with everyone and just shoot the shit. It's pretty much like every other cruise/ get together.
I gotta haz that race-gas in my junk, and it only gets 12mpg on a good day.

apparently GLD has scheduled some Midwest drag radial company for the 12th as well. Ive been trying to get a hold of them to figure out whats going on but no response, even left a voicemail. The schedule still says open racing for all starting at 1pm though.
I am still planning on showing up at 1130-12. Just to get our spots and hopefully get in at least 2 runs.

ok, so it is getting very close to the track meet. As far as food is concerned for those coming, if you plan to be there for 1 day i would like $5. If you plan to be there 2-3 days I would like $10, (unless you plan to eat at the concession stands). I NEED the money prior to the event please as when the time rolls around for the event I will be pretty much broke and wont have the proper amount of cash to pay for all the food up front.

ok, so here is another update after calling GLD yesterday. They are going to rope off a section for us (35 cars worth of space) to park while between runs. They will also give us wristbands so that we get put in the short staging lanes to get the most runs because we have such a large group! You NEED to let the person that you pay (when entering GLD) that you are with 3800Tech so that they will give you the wristband!!
I am still planning on meeting at the hotel(for those staying in a room, for those coming from out of state just meet at the track between 1130-12) around 930-10 saturday morning, having breakfast at either the restaurant in front of the hotel or at mcdonalds and leaving for GLD so that we get there by 1130-12. I was told they have open/fun racing from 1pm-930pm that saturday night. So we should get in quite a few runs.
