with it run like that, there's soooo much more room for the fenderwell mounted battery and air filter setup to nose into the fender.

for sure. iwish i had the time to do my car right. lol
3" IC piping?
we're just lucky there's barely enough room for the battery below the PCM and above the ic piping, only 5 couplers in the whole system.
it'll be nice to keep the weight up front but be able to lower to the axle centerline.
kevin wants to fly a jet so he's takin offers on his slp catback
ah i see... thats badass as all hell. mine has 12. fuck. lol
3" IC piping?
all i heard from yoursetup is how much the couplers were a problem, though having that same side IC or whatever probably doesnt help things as you have to have both pipes go on the same side of the car and more bends
james did a rediculously awesome job on the piping, totally custom, for both the engine bay and inside the bumper cover...
what was more of a problem was the pipes i cut to get my piping routed the first time- without a lip or rolled edge on the pipes- the couplers would slide off over time and then pop off. now none of the pipes are cut, and all the couplers are good... i pressure tested it to 25psi. then got scared. errr.. yeah scared.
Nah still a street car....intrepids have that too and those aren't race carzto change his battery he has to remove the drivers side fenderwell splash shield and tire, or the bumper cover... its a racecar fer sure lol
