During your interview with Chuck boss Josh Schwartz, did he happen to mention if Chuck's new abilities will be all over the spectrum? --Dana
Ausiello: No, but speaking of that Q&A, here's the (extra spoilery) portion of the interview I held over for AA:

Will Chuck and Sarah start the season off as a full-fledged couple?
SCHWARTZ: Chuck having the Intersect in his head will severely complicate their ability to be a couple... [And] look for a potential new love interest on the show.

Really? For who?
SCHWARTZ: Someone who could triangulate between a couple of characters.

Male or female?
SCHWARTZ: Gosh, isn't it more fun to tease?

As you have since read, Chuck will be back, though not until midseason and perhaps for only 13 episodes. On the bright side, talk that the action-comedy would shave overhead by culling down the cast appears to be inaccurate. "We're not looking to lower the cost in any way," says NBC boss Ben Silverman. "We want [executive producers] Josh Schwartz, McG and Zach [Levi] to perform at their highest level." In other words, Silverman says, "The show you love is the show you'll get." Oh, and there's this from the cover of Duh! Magazine: Subway will be back as a major promotional partner. How fast can Sarah assemble a foot-long BMT?

Comic-con highlights/"spoilers":

That’s good news for the show that has such a powerful fan base, albeit a smaller one given the ratings. But still with NBC struggling for good content – or any content at all given they will have Jay Leno on five nights a week – CHUCK could easily come back by November.

Here are some of the highlights from the CHUCK panel at Comic Con:

* Schwartz says something huge, emotional and traumatic will happen to Chuck and Sarah in season three. That’s, however, all he would say.
* The CHUCK panel had the Jeffsters opening the event with cover version of Fat Bottom Girls.
* Chuck won’t be able to go “Chuck-Fu” all the time, otherwise Casey and Sarah would be useless.
* Awesome will get into the spy world as well in season 3.
* Sarah’s sister Corinna will be back in Season 3.
* There is a new site up that is a hub for fans to tide them over until the show comes back. Chuckmeout.com
* From that site: check out some of the videos and poster promoting the new season.
