I remember when Mook posted a picture of GTR and you were bitching about how the front bumper paint didn't match the rest of the car. Today, I present to you the $115K ZR1!!! GM FTL!

One of the shocker members is in Idaho for the year, and he saw this parked out somewhere in Idaho. He took the pictures. Nobody even noticed the difference in the hood until I pointed it out. Isn't the hood painted elsewhere? When SLP was painting SS parts, they didn't match either.

1. You can't compare panels that are at different angles to the light source.
2. Painted plastic and painted metal will never be the exact same color. Even if you shoot them with the exact same batch of paint at the same time and location, they won't be perfect. Doesn't matter what company painted the car. An experienced painter is your best friend when it comes to color matching panels.

That's a pretty common thing with silver and I'm not sure it's a defect. My 98' Grand Prix used to look like the bumper was a completely different shade of silver depending on what angle you looked at it.

Does anyone really care? It's not like it makes the ZR-1 any less prone to making my peepee straighten up.
