rs4 all wheel drive, in chicago that makes a dfference.

What, the 10 - 15 days a year that there is snow on the roads for a few hours....... AWD is a great way to be heavier and slower....... People drove RWD for years and years in the snow, many still do.... it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be

mabye not in the higher end because the rs4 is the racing edition of the a4s, but a 14 sline fully loaded is about 45k a 335 fully loaded is about 51k. my brother in 07 went and bought a a4 sline, and it was between that and a 335i..he bought the a4 sline because they offered much more for less money.

i feel sorry for your brother... bad choice

a4 s-line offers "more" of what? for less money?

have you driven both cars? a 335 will run circles around it

and man, an m3 vs a rs4 for 20k less? thats where its true the the bmw offers a ton for a lot less money

eh, some people still want quattro, as either a performance orientation, OR to be fine in snow/rain/crap weather...

plenty of cars ripping up tracks are awd... evo, sti, audi, gtr, jeep, dsms, awd grand caravans... etc

we had a turbo miata project and with the right driver i'm sure it was faster around some curves than the sti. i was always faster in the sti though, autocross and race track. awd will forgive your mistakes. rwd will punish you for them! awd is a lot easier to sit in and drive faster.
