fuel is going to go up no doubt about it. won't try and forecast gas prices but definitely expect them to rise for many reasons.

for wagons i like wrx as well as bimmer wagons.

i know a nasioc mod chick is selling an smg one for 18 i think. e46 was in OP near the end as a possibility so i just jumped on that, certainly on the pricier side of the scale here though.

i almost want to get a lifted diesel right now then while i could drive it for a while... i figure in the future, once i settle down and shit, i dont think a lifted mean ass truck really be in the cards.

not sure what your sizeage is, i'm 6'2" 180, never had a problem except when i was trying to do fun stuffs - my previous cars were an e36 m3 and an e34 535. both had sunroofs. i was pretty well stuck to the ceiling in both wearing a helmet. sti has no sunroof and plenty of space up thar. mom has wrx wagon, only think i recall disliking was blind spot for me on driver's side. space and seats would fit most well i think.

ALL TINTED WINDOWS, ALL POWER INSIDE. NOW FOR THE GOODIES 5 INCH MBRP EXHAUST TURBO BACK, SUNCOAST STAGE 4 ALLISON TRANNY WITH 1058 CONVERTER, CHEETAH 68 MM TURBO, FASS 150 FUEL SYSTEM, EFI TUNED, AUTO METER BOOST, PYRO, AND FUEL PRESSURE GAUGES. THE INJECTORS ARE STILL STOCK THEY WERE REPLACED THROUGH GM WARRENTY AT 97K. BACK IN THE FALL I HAD IT DYNOED AT 569 RWHP AND 1032 ON THE TORQUE SIDE, AND I STILL PULL 21 MPG!! o, i disagree, i voted for the truck. There is nothing like the endless torque of a big ass diesel. although i would go with a gmc 2500HD crew cab short bed with a duramax. but im a GM whore, so.....
