The story mode looks like it follows all the same beats as the anime, and has the same animation style, and is even voiced by the same english AND japanese voice actors from the anime.

Seems like it got decent reviews. I don't really care. I just wanna feel like im playing the anime, and I think this might just do that.

Not sure how well this is gonna go w/ GT7 coming out friday tho  I am definitely not going to be leaving the house this weekend.

Oh yeah. And I also ordered up a couple funkos of Tanjiro and Nezuko for good measure  Still waiting for those to arrive

I have a couple sitting in my garage next to my computer on a top shelf. There's who knows how many I want but I'm too cheap to buy them. Lol. My brother in law has a good decent collection of marvel ones.

importcrew importcrew Fired this up last night since I couldnt play GT7  Think I'm up into chapter 2 somewhere. It definitely feels like youre playing the anime, and there are a lotta cutscenes to sit thru, but the animation is almost indistinguishable from the anime, so Its almost like Im rewatching the show, and then every once in a while I get to step in and slice up some demons  And its great having everything voiced from the actual voice actors as well. Really helps keep that immersion. As far as the gameplay, it has a pretty old school feeling to it. It's very basic, but I kinda like it compared to how complex most other games can be these days. This is NOT a big sprawling open world. You get plopped into a map, you're pretty much funneled to where you need to go, and anything that requires your attention as far as collectibles or objectives are clearly marked on your map. Combat is pretty decent and easy to pick up, I'm still finding my groove, but when you pull off some of Tanjiros signature moves it feels pretty good. Did the boss fight w/ that big hand demon from the final selection trial in the forest. Wasn't quite as difficult as I feared it would be, but still fun. You get a lotta visual cues as to what kinda attacks your enemies are going to spring, so its the classic matter of learning what their moves are and then reacting accordingly. A lotta dodging and sprinting around waiting for them to finish their move, then dashing in attacking. For the less powerful demons there is a parry system where if you can parry an attack, you can immediately see the thread to take them out regardless of how much health they have, instead of having to knock away their health first. Haven't quite mastered that yet but its cool when you get it right. Some of the big finishing moves use quicktime prompts, but thats fine.

Overall not disappointed so far. It's giving me my demon slayer fix while I wait for the new season to come out

Nice. Thanks for the review. If I see it for a decent price (not even sure what it's selling at now. Lol) then I may pick it up and add it to my collection. Currently debating on adding another 1TB ssd to the ps5.

April 2023

After a long wait Demon Slayer fans finally have a release date for the anime's highly anticipated Swordsmith Village Arc adaptation. A theatrical event was announced alongside the April 2023 release - not a surprise considering the success of the Mugen Train Arc film adaptation.

Also importcrew importcrew , this is SO tempting right now :ROFLMAO: $109.59 after you clip the coupon. I need my fix.....

And yes also I need to start Bleach :ROFLMAO:
