Ohh yeah… taking some time off from various house and yard projects and getting around to installing the sub and amp. Soon..

Then it will be time for new speakers.

Not much to update.. I drive this car 2 days a week.. 100 miles each day. Averages 22mpg. Sub and amp are in. Still have to finish up mounting the sub box And put a speaker grill on there but I’m happy with it for now. Just gave it a wash and a quick wax. Wheels are horrible.. really need to replace them but that will have to be next year.

Imagine if you had been on 90 heading into the city. Stopped traffic from downtown all the way to Cumberland due to a car-b-q.
Luckily I leave for work at 9 and drive home after 7 pm. It’s rare to hit a lot of traffic.

Took a look at it on break and did a bit of googling. Looks like a common problem to have the relay and/or fan motor go bad and one kills the other.

Fucking hell, I ran the first Astro I had probably 2-3 years without a fan. Moved up north, got stuck on 90/94 and that was that.

Probably not the first time but once you've got the tool absolutely. I mean I'll usually just do an arm but if I'm trying to save money I'll just do the joint then it's a no brainier. Parts stores usually rent the tool out if you don't have one so there's that too

When you get this thing in shape, it will last forever.

If you want, they sell back up camera head units that have modern features. I have been thinking about getting one for Amy's Camry.

Thats the problem with old cars if it’s not one thing it’s another thing breaking or needing replaced.

I’m wondering what a Coyote/10A swap in this would be like.

Probably pretty damn awesome would be my guess.

True but it’s still cheaper than a new car or newer used car. Especially in this case because I didn’t have to pay for this car.

Guessing high 12s bottom 13s stock. Would probably still surprise people.

Even a 2v 5.4l is a huge upgrade in these. +30ish hp and +70ish ft-lbs.

Ford not offering them that way probably is why they didn't fully eclipse the 9c1s
