🔧 BUILD I respect wood. I revere wood. I'm considerate of wood. Buick Roadmaster content inside

General Information

I finally full filled my dream of owning the ultimate dad rod. It needs a deeeeep clean and some work but here I am adding a 3rd project to my stable.

My ultimate goal is LS swap with a manual trans, get it a bit lower on 18” something’s and enjoy it as my daily driver and kid hauler.

Unless he's getting aftermarket wheels they're 5X5 not 5X4.75 like an Fbody.

It's worth noting that third gen 1LE Rotors will fit up front depending on the brake package (I think some of the 9C1s used extra thick HD rotors but am unsure of these) but they'll have to have the rear of the hub cut for the ABS reluctors from what I remember. Getting the rear to 5X4.75 is probably going to be harder.

Far as I know only the vettes and lt4 camaro SS got 4 bolt mains.

Hasn’t seemed to cause an issue with me revving the shit out of my lt1. But, when I had it rebuilt it was redone with all arp hardware and balances to hell and back.
The lt1 will just hit the dumpster at some point. Don’t care

Speaking of wheels, don't the B-Bodies have a different bolt pattern than most GM vehicles? I seem to recall shopping for 9C1 Caprice's (B-Bodies, not Holden's), awhile back, and I wanted to put a set of period correct Corvette Grand Sport wheels on it, and it requires adaptors and some 'modification', but it's been awhile, so maybe I'm thinking of some other issue.

It’s 5x5 or 5x127mm if you hate America.

Plenty of aftermarket wheels out there. Kinda dig c10 rally wheels, I also like them with older big body Buick wheels too.
