This is the last of us. Awesome episode!

And that's why the 2 plus hours they pissed away is frustrating as fuck.

I knew this episode would get things back on track, but I'll give you that one. This episode was over WAY too quickly. Fucking fuck. In the game that sequence with Elllie
escaping the lodge w/ David coming after her was one of THE MOST tense sequences in the game, but in this show it was over like nuthin. Tho they did still stick really close w/ the game, which I loved

I wish I could have seen this episode thru a non-game players eyes :ROFLMAO: I certainly fucking loved it, but none of the "twists" shocked me, because I already knew they were coming.

And now next week is the finale. I don't know what the run time is, but damn they're gonna have to make a huge jump to get to where they need to be

Well, they are already speeding through everything. There are basically 0 clicker battles, and almost 0 raiders battles.

And the dude that went and got the meds, wasn't he the voice of Joel in the game?

Now you get where I'm coming from.

Has NOTHING to do with gay characters or agendas or woke....it has everything to do with taking away from the core story of what we are watching.

Frank & Bill love story and the DLC were NOT part of the original story....and they devoted 2 hours to it, taking away from the central story.

I wonder if they're doing this just to try and avoid being like every other zombie show/movie ever. Add in backstories and side stories that show some humanity rather than just "group wants to go somewhere for some reason that doesn't make sense, group fights savage humans along the way, group fights zombies along the way"

I don't think that's the case at all.....look at how limited the interaction is between the humans and infected. Also factor in unlike TWD the story being told in this season has an ending.

I think those 2 episodes would have been a solid fit in a 12 episode season.....in a 9 episode season? Ugh

You have to remember they are trying to make a show that appeals to the broadest audience they can. That includes people that played the game and people that didn't. People that didn't play the game don't know that those episodes weren't part of the game. They are always going to change some things. It isn't an exact retelling of the game story.

As a non game player it does seem weird there hasn't been more infected people, but that may have also been super redundant every episode as well.

I’m waiting to see how the season ends. I want to see where it goes and how well it adapts. I think if you were to watch just the cutscenes on YouTube it’s like 6 hours. So I’m waiting to judge if the “2 wasted episodes” is even warranted.

They still have a LOT of stuff to cover, I don't see how they can fill the remainder of the story in the game in just 1 more episode, so it's going to spill over into a second season.

The 3rd and 7th episodes were definitely completely unnecessary and pointless time wasters when it comes to the game timeline.

I do. Get rid of all the traveling and fighting off clickers, and boom, you're at the end. Easy 1 episode left. I'm excited to start game 2 once I finish up this play through.
