Turk Turk got me looking at porsches again

rump-image.jpg

I have a bad habit of my tastes outgrowing my budget, before I buy anything lol. I used to dream of a zl1, base is fine. Now I could buy one of those but don't want one. Now I want a heritage CFTP shelby.

I'm a bit concerned that when the time comes for the shelby i'll be like "how about i just keep this money in stocks and wait for 911 turbos to drop some more" lol. Delayed gratification doesn't bother me one bit, as i've said before I always play the long game

I rent a lot of cars and the Pacifica is one I rent a lot. I REALLY like it. Surprisingly.
we rented one about a year ago and liked it too.

Usually I HATE auto transmissions, I actually like the CVT because I dont feel the shifts  , but putting it into a mode other then eco, I could deal with it on the pacifica.

I am really picky on responsiveness of the transmission when you need it.

36k 33k miles 2020 Kona Blue PP1 A10 loaded car. Both sets of wheels. Sub amp setup. Cat delets not installed. Steeda X pipes all its got with active exhaust.

I want a C8. Ill even deliver car to you.

Depending how far C8s go I may get serious about punting this car by summer.

That's what I got for mine. That's kind of in the range of what I was looking at. Maybe a bit more miles than I wanted but nothing crazy.

The Pacifica has one of those? I didn't even notice. I didn't like the hybrid ones I rented, but the regular ones were nice.

Somewhat keeping my eye open for a BMW M235 / M240.

I gave my Q50 to my fiancée since she needed a car and I no longer did. We’ve had to make a few repairs recently and starting to see some potential issues in the future that will need to be addressed. Never liked the car that much so would prefer to get her into something nicer and a bit more fun for when I have to drive it.

Nothing. I'm 100% complete.

I have a vehicle for every scenario.

However, if something happened to anything in the fleet...

SHO, would be replaced by a SHO or Explorer ST. No other exceptions what so ever.

DUTY would be replaced by a 6.0 something, more than likely an Excursion.

IROC-would be replaced by a another IROC, or G8GT/GXP, whatever came first.

My problem is I’m looking at like 15+ sierras, OBS trucks and burbs with 6.5’s and gmt 900 crew cabs simply because I’ve got a cam setup sitting on the shelf for a vvt engine

Oh I’ve admittedly been looking at 15+ 5.0 f150’s too

So, in your experience and researching, which would be the better 15+ truck, the GMC with the 5.3 or 6.2, or the F-150 with the 5.0? Guess I could lump the RAM's with the 5.7's in there. I'm genuinely curious, because I might have to start looking to replace mine sooner than I'd like, and those are in the sweet spot of what I am looking at. Same configuration, quad cab with 6 1/2' bed (or longer).

With the car market dropping, keep in mind that your trade in value will also likely be far less. So sometimes it ends up being a wash in a high market vs a low market. High interest rates would keep me out of the market to replace anything for the time being. I'll probably look at a 3.3tt Stinger to replace my 2.5t later this year or next year, but then the practical side of me realizes it makes more sense to keep the one I have for awhile longer.

Market is still high msrp on a 21 base with track pack was 77k a year ago brand new

With price increases a 22 base with track
Pack was supposed to be 85k but it was like 89 with increases.

Remember it’s winter all sports cars fall they will go up in the spring again. The amount I don’t know.
I mean that's just inflation which is a fact of life at this point, that's why I try and compare used prices. MSRP is also basically useless since you couldn't buy one at MSRP throughout the whole 3 year run.

It is weird to consider that if a gt500 stickered at $80k in 2020, that's $92k in today's dollars. So if you factor in inflation you could pay over the original MSRP....3 years later....yet the car still depreciated (albeit not much)? Crazy times

Dead serious. I owe less than 36k I have a F150 and I drive to ND quite frequently. Next week I will be driving matter of fact.
Id 100% toss it on a trailer and drop off at your door.
