Went to Jewel to grab lunch meat and a few small things we needed for the week. Saw some shady/ghetto people in there, thought nothing of it.

Finished shopping and came out to my car and saw some crap on my wiper blade. Got in the car and saw greasy fingerprints on the glass.

Got home and went to clean them off and saw greasy fingerprints on the paint.

Don’t fucking touch people’s cars you heathens. And drink some fucking water and wash your fucking hands you savages.

FUCK

went to a funeral today for my oldest son’s friend/ lacrosse player on his team. His friend passed away at 15 years old last Sunday the 28th, he was involved in a car accident as a passenger, car went off the road, hit a tree and he was ejected as he didn’t have his seat belt on. 19 year old Driver fell asleep at the wheel.

Sad to see at such a young age, had a a lot going for him including a career as an airplane pilot, he was just picked up by a major aviation school near by.

Dropped my daughter off at the S-I-L to dog sit as they're away. We're in the G8.

She got out, shut the door. I back out, drive down the road, and turn left... The passenger door flings open. WTF!

Get over to the other house (a few blocks away) and sure as shit, the door lock actuator is busted. The thing won't latch when closed. The tumbler is supposed to latch in place and only release upon either door handle releasing it. The tumbler just flips right back up. Grrrr...

Took my dog to the vet this morning after my wife gave him double the amount of sedatives you give a normal dog his size, no affect on my basket case boxer. Took 15 minutes to get the muzzle on him because anytime anyone touched him he’d nip at them. Muzzled, sedated, head wrapped in a towel with me restraining him he gets an injected sedative and we wait. 10 minutes later the vet comes in and he pops up unaffected by the sedatives and won’t let the vet touch him. Another 15 minutes to get him muzzled, wrapped up and he gets ANOTHER sedative and we wait. Vet comes back in the room after 10 minutes and my dog powers right through the muzzle, the towel, my grip and enough sedatives to make a brown bear take a nap and goes ballistic trying to bite and scratch me and anything else in the room. I got extremely lucky that when he got his teeth on my forearm he realized who it was and he stopped biting immediately and didn’t even break the skin. I call the entire thing off and we have to figure out how we’re going to do all this bullshit just to get his vaccinations and a blood test and my wife and I aren’t sure that the trauma to my dog is worth it. Get home and the dog is full blown fighting going to sleep despite having enough sedatives to legitimately drop any animal 4 times his size.
Dog FINALLY falls asleep and I go to check my phone because I wanted to talk to my dad before he starts running around at noon and my phone battery is at 25%. Ok, I guess I forgot to charge it? I plug it in, grab my AirPods and talk to my dad for a half hour with the phone still plugged in then play 2 player Kirby with my son for about an hour before we eat lunch. 2 hours after plugging in my phone I go to check a message from my wife and my iPhone 12 is nuclear hot and only charged to 38%, I shut it off and put it in the refrigerator for a half hour. Turn on phone and the battery is at 48%……HUH? Put it in airplane mode and charged it for an hour, unplugged it at 100%, checked emails and watched the battery drop to 70% in the literal blink of an eye. Everything I read and Apples help chat says the battery and or processor is fucked and I need a new phone so I order one. New phone will be here in 3 fucking weeks.

The whole brake thing on the Eagle is going to be a pain in the dick. I already twisted off a line doing the hose, thinking I'll want to pull the intake manifold if not the hood, broke the line going to the prop valve from the master for the drums on accident and the fucking pads are wrong because I ordered the fronts for the Jeep Liberty I am doing a rear disc swap with. Putting together another rock auto order now.

What's annoying about the pads is that the best friction coefficient I can find is FF and I'd like to have GG instead. Most of the pics aren't really showing it. I really need a parts guy to tell me if any GGs are out there but because it's an old ass car with weird stuff that info's hard to come by. The ones that came with it have about 60% life and I'm thinking say fuck it and throw em back on at this point unless I can find a higher performance alternative.

The plus side is if I get ambitious the spindle/caliper setup seems very modern. There's an actual bracket to connect the caliper to so in turn I think I have good odds of being able to make a plate and swap stuff on if I can get another rotor/caliper combo I want to use. Still eyeballing 99-02 Crown Vic parts, 12.5" rotors would be a nice upgrade from 11" rotors.

Meant to look this thread up the other day, I was in the office and they told us that one of the ladies who works there (and on a different floor of the building before I got an "office", she was my cube neighbor. Nice older jewish lady. Her husband and son both work for the hospital as well. We found out her son died unexcpectedly that morning. He was 23, I met him once, I think he was autistic as he didn't drive and worked in the food services at the hospital. I guess she got him up for work and then was in the kitchen and she went to check on him and he was collapsed in his room.

No info yet on if they found the cause of it, but fuck.

I know she's only a few years away from retirement and her husband was even closer to it. Her only child.

Discovered the hard way that I have a nasty allergic reaction to amoxicillin. Took one last night around 5pm to help with infection/swelling from my root canal - by 6:30 I was itchy as fuck everywhere, 6:45 my heart rate is at 120bpm and my face and hands were puffy and sunburn red, 7:00 I was on the floor burning up and sweating and about to pass out while trying to get pants on for my wife to take me to the emergency room heart rate dropped to 65bpm, 7:15 my back, legs and feet are red and have a rash/hives but I got my bearings back and no more sweating or dizziness. Cancelled the ER visit and sent my wife to go get Benadryl. By 8:30 I was back to normal but completely exhausted and right now I’m so fucking wiped out I can barely keep my eyes open.

Weird because I’ve taken amoxicillin a lot in my life and never had any reaction at all but it explains what happened to me after the dentist visit a few weeks ago. Doesn’t explain how I was taking it for weeks and had no reaction then all of a sudden it completely fucks me up.

Different manufacturers maybe? Allergic to a filler?

I wasn't Allergic but had weird side affect to tramadoll (sp) from one pharmacy, but not another. Asked why they said they must get them from Different manufacturers. They can use different fillers and that's typically what messes with people.

Same bottle and same prescription that messed me up a few weeks ago but a few weeks ago I thought it was something the dentist used while working on me. So I honestly have no idea. From what I read I could have some weird virus running through my system that the amoxicillin attacks and the side affects are part of the battle. Regardless I ain’t taking that shit anymore, 24 hours later and I have a raging headache, I’m exhausted and still don’t feel quite right.

Might want to try Doxycycline next time. Every once in a while the Augmentin fucks up my stomach, so I'll as for Doxycycline, it usually a little easier on the system.
