I like the one Yaj Yak Yaj Yak posted, as I'd rather contain my grease than have to empty the drip trays on my grill, that I still have yet to empty.

a dedicated griddle having somewhere for the grease "to go" is pretty beneficial though...

Not sure if this has been mentioned. I was at a buddies house over the weekend. They make a griddle that fits over Weber gas grills, and probably other brands as well. Turns your gas grill into a dual purpose grill/griddle and saves you the headache of taking up room with both a grill and a Blackstone. I'm more than likely going to buy one. But waiting to find a steal deal on a Genesis or better.

My in-laws are buying a place and the current owner sent over a bunch of stuff they wanted to sell, and they asked me if I wanted the Weber Summit grill. I got all excited until I saw pics and it looks like it is from the 80s/90s. Lol.

My Home Depot grill will do just fine until I get the actual Weber.

Ive seen a couple Summits at steal deals but they were sold in literally less than a hour.

parts are very availble for it still... made in america, likely in palatine id almost bet. this is a super good grill and you'd have to spend $2k+ to get anything like it nowadays

Hmm, interesting. That’s a horse of a different color.

Transport would be rough but I could get it to work.

transport would be rough as shit, id pull as much as possible off of it cuz it's likely 250-300lbs? i dont know.

one huge thing is if you do become interested, look at the whole lid/bottom of it for rust, cuz that's not very easily replaced... or found. but it should be mainly stainless so it should be good.
