The wind was bonkers. It woke me up about 1am because it was pushing so hard on my front door it was whistling where it leaked through.

sounded like some possible pea sized hail. Initial review of the truck's hood, no damage.

it poured, HARD. Some real loud cracks of thunder but not much lightning ( at least by me ).
I was waiting for the tornado sirens to go off.

Elgin got almost 4 inches of rain last night. Was crazy.

Looks like a battle ground in Hoffman.
Huge tree branches down.

Tree took out my neighbors power lines to his house.

Hail was a little bigger than a marble and with some serious wind behind it.

up in McHenry it was a lot of lightning and tons of rain. we have a kids pool for the dogs out back that was empty prior to the storm and is around 4" full now. enough lightning to trip the front doorbell to think it was movement multiple times.

I am down in Sandwich and the lightning was more exciting then the fireworks. We had clear skys but up north was intense.

It was constant for sure. Huge long ass bolts.

It was coming down like mad but no hail and within a couple minutes the sump pump start going like crazy, which is how dry the ground was...
