Natural gas dont work for me, can those still be converted?
I was literally just in that neighborhood about a hour ago
You just buy the conversion kit to go to propane.

I bought a stove watch that was propane, and I drilled the jets out and hooked it up to natural gas and it was fine, the flame was a little bigger than it should have been but it was absolutely okay.

I coulda swore something with Webers prevented you from converting it. But this was like 5yrs ago when my guy had them falling off the back of a truck all summer long.

This guy..... Lists it for $900 last week. I hit him up saying I'm interested, no reply. Ask him if he's available saturday, he says "no". Finally hit him up again this past Friday and was like "Why are you icing my messages?" And he says sorry, he has a buyer coming Sunday, but if I want to up my bid, I can have it. So I offer $950. Then he replies some gibberish about multiple offers and that he's now starting an auction.

Fast forward to today and I notice that he relisted it for $1500 - which is $200 more than what it sells for brand new.

That's actually on the lower end for a "real" offset - aka one that is made of 1/4" steel and fully welded. There's similar sized pits that cost upwards of $4-5k.

$900 for a used one of these is a decent price - $1500 is hilarious.
now i know!

ive built and modified high dollar comp pit trailers and was wow'd with the amount of money people have spent on them, but for home use, i didnt know that was a thing.
