📊 Poll Testing out a new Thursday location - Gauging interest

BOTTLEFED has found a new potential spot for Thursday nights. Its in Bartlett, owned by a car guy, decent amount of parking, would be able to get the backing of the surrounding businesses and they all would likely support the meet. Before I proceed with setting up a test date, I need to know that there would actually be interest from TCG. Its no secret that Thursday nights have struggled to get actual TCG participation for a few years now and I dont want to put our name out there, or waste anyones time, if ultimately we don't get any attendance.

We could either do every Thursday as we have or we could try every other Thursday or something like that. But for now, just toss up a vote to give me an idea if the site / community would be interested in growing a new spot. Take in mind I dont expect folks to attend every single one.

Ok, so i was just made aware of this from Mook.
So this spot was "stumbled upon" met the owner and he mentioned they do a few car shows/cruise nights on sundays. Got to talking with him and he said the businesses that are in the location are on board with it. It has the possibility to be a good spot with having the local businesses being a part of it. Also i do have an in with the actual owner of the entire property, but that being said i do not want it to turn into a mess, for mook or myself. If we think we can make this happen it could be a good thing for everyone.

Agreed. Bartlett is much more manageable for me in the far west burbs. I might actually be able to make a few of these.

Yes I would. I go to local cruises all the time. Algonquin was almost 3 hours round trip after working a full day…UGH. Even when Santas village cruise nights were still going it was a haul for the souf siders. Bartlett is 45 min for me.

Bartlett is much closer so I would be more inclined to go, Algonquin I would have to make it a whole thing as it was a much longer haul.
