She has the worst road rage. Not the kind that causes you to beat on the hood of someone's car, but the kind that she points out and yells about every driver that doesn't use a turn signal, stops too far back, stops in front of the line, uses the turn outside lane improperly, is missing a headlight, has too bright of headlights, basically bitches about everyone that isn't perfect.

Oh, her favorite thing for her to do is complain about where I put something or how I did something. I'll explain why and she's like no that doesn't belong there. Okay dear what would you like me to do with it? "I shouldn't have to tell you. Figure it out for yourself"

I’ll lob out another easy one.

Water. The faucet is either off or on full blast. There is no in-between for her. The amount of water she wastes is staggering.

Washing a few dishes or hands? Full blast. More water goes down the drain or all over counter then she uses to wash the item. Then doesn’t clean up after herself.

I’m not “Mr eco dude”, but holy shit does she waste water.

We unfortunately have an auto-sensing washer. She’ll set it to heavy duty which will fill the drum, to wash like five things. It’s infuriating.

I posted this earlier, but she just bought me ANOTHER XL shirt…and said “just try it on” what do you fucking know? It doesn’t fit.
In her defense, T Shirts are weird. I have everything from a XL to XXXL in my closet. I’ve even bought some XXXL that were tight AF and other were like dresses lol.

That’s my biggest problem. I’m 6”4 215-220 athletic build. Shirts just don’t fit. It’s either a tight laughable muscle shirt, or I’m swimming in it. I have like 6 shirts that fit me nice.

The apt 9 shirts I’ve found fit good as well as the Fox racing tech tees. That’s basically my whole wardrobe

Try being 6’1” and 160! I’ve pretty much turned into a shirt tucker over the years at least at work because I hate having my shirts go past all my carpenter pant pockets that hold my 20 pounds of tools.. Plus my tape holder is always clipped to my belt anyways

6 feet here. I guess I have wide shoulders even when thinner L is too tight at the shoulder, but when I'm in the 21x's for weight the torse is fairly loose. I also prefer v neck shirts I have a thick neck and big head lol.
Duluth Trading shirts fit awesome!! I’m 6’ 210lbs with an athletic build and their shirts fit great. Standard fit XL flannels fit perfect in the shoulders and chest and I have a few long sleeve heavy T-shirt style and 3 button henleys and they are all the best fitting most comfortable shirts I own. They also have slim and athletic build in some of their shirts.

Remember me mentioning the counter next to the sink? This is the result of me being at work and my wife being home with my son (and awake) for an afternoon. All of that minus the Star Wars coffee mug is her mess that she can’t put in the dishwasher that’s not even a step away and this is after I put 4 plates and a bunch of silverware and glasses in the dishwasher. I said “Fuck this, it’s her fucking mess!” a little louder than I thought and then nope’d out and went to take a shower, came back up to a pissed off wife that was loaded with excuses as to why she can’t take a literal half second to put dirty dishes where they belong. Long argument/story short, we both work and take care of our son but one person is not responsible to clean the others mess and I will not be cleaning due to someone else’s laziness after working all day and not making the mess. We both clean, vacuum, dust, mop, do laundry etc as needed and it’s not one persons sole responsibility to do chores around the house. She leaves my mess for me to clean up, I will now be doing the exact same to her.
For the sake of argument I worked all day, she worked all day and had my son home with her. I went grocery shopping after work, took the dog for a walk when I got home, brought in the garbage cans, got the Mail, shoveled snow, pulled stuff out for dinner, cleaned up my sons toy explosion, fed the dog, started cleaning the counter/loading the dishwasher all while she was playing video games with my son watching. Her excuse was she worked all day and just needed a break, that’s when I blew my cool and asked in a not so nice manner when do I get a break?

This is AFTER I had cleaned up the majority of the dishes and all of this goes in the dishwasher.

Sounds like a happy married couple.

Honestly we are. We get pissed at each other, internalize it and mull over whether it’s worth it to be mad and eventually it blows up or blows over. After the blow up we talk about it and things get better. Rinse and repeat until death do is part.
It’s not like any of this is anything major, it’s just compiling trivial garbage that honestly isn’t even worth getting mad about and most days it doesn’t bother either of us even in the slightest. 99% of the time we get along perfectly but that 1% gets amplified by outside stressors and comes to a head.

When it comes to keeping common areas clean I try to fix the problem. So in the past my kids would just leave dishes in the sink but now I have them both (14,16) trained to put the dishes right in the dishwasher. I try not to play head games with my wife about the dishes because she will clean them up by the end of the night. My style if I'm cooking is to clean as I go, and then clean up all the loose dishes and 'ware. If she cooks, I assume she will clean. And I also appreciate that she does 100% of the laundry. I just get cranky when we start having piles of crap on every flat surface in the kitchen the room we are in the most.

I muscled cleaning up the 14 year olds closet with him and her. I had him try on everything, clothes got sorted in (keep), (keep for memories which are in a dry cleaning bag), and (give away). Was very productive. The book the Pursuit of Happyness talks about cleaning and organizing one room or closet at a time, chunk it down and make it manageeable.

Most women at some point during their early adulthood lose their sense of accountability for their words and actions. They blame everyone except for themselves, especially when they accidentally or intentionally break something.

And, most women forget how to say, “I’m sorry” or “I apologize”, let alone mean it.
