I've resigned myself to figuring I'll never see a Bears' super-bowl contending team in my lifetime as long as the ownership is what it is.

If you think every defense in the league doesn't scheme their game plan around every opponents top wr, you're definitely mistaken, and he's definitely been our top option this year.I can assure you, at no time in his career will opposing defenses scheme their game plans with him in mind. He would be a perfect #2 to a game changing true
#1 receiver.
I guess I'll quote this post a year from now and he will still be average at best.If you think every defense in the league doesn't scheme their game plan around every opponents top wr, you're definitely mistaken, and he's definitely been our top option this year.
I do agree with you though, right now he's a Wr #2, but he's only in his second year and has shown great progression so far. To say that he'll never be a Wr #1 at this point is beyond premature
I don't think I'd characterize a 1,000 yard receiving year as "average"I guess I'll quote this post a year from now and he will still be average at best.
Agreed, but look at Tennessee. Obviously the main concern for defenses there is Henry, but AJ Brown is a Top tier Wr #1 that also commands respect from the secondaryThey are probably more concerned with Montgomery.
Dude he was basically the only option, hence the 1000 yards. If Robinson had played up to his capabilities, nobody would be talking about Mooney.I don't think I'd characterize a 1,000 yard receiving year as "average"

Well that starts with the GM drafting better players and making smart football decisions with free agents. The Bears do need a lot more than just a new GM and head coach. Like better players. Lol..
This is why I was more concerned about Pace than NagyWell that starts with the GM drafting better players and making smart football decisions with free agents.
Absolutely. Pace made some of the dumbest decisions Iāve ever seen. Holy Shit!Well that starts with the GM drafting better players and making smart football decisions with free agents.
Thatās a good change in my opinion.Phillips stays as President and CEO.
GM will report to McCaskey, not Phillips.
Olin Kruetz and or Tom Thayer should be hired as consultants and help make this decision. Not some bitch thats in charge of Bears special events, jesus fucking christ are they an incompetent organization!New position on Bears, diversity, equity and inclusion boss Tanesha Wade will help with the GM and coach choice.
I like where your head is at here...Olin Kruetz and or Tom Thayer should be hired as consultants and help make this decision. Not some bitch thats in charge of Bears special events, jesus fucking christ are they an incompetent organization!
