I mean I think that's the source of friction for the entire show. John dutton promised his father he wouldn't give up an inch, but using a "ranch the size of rhode island" to breed cattle and train horses in today's day and age presents a shitload of challenges, all of which are related to the fact that your land is worth way way way more than you can afford

Yeah I don’t think that’s a storyline that would ever get played out if done right. It’s a dying way of life and will be a constant battle. That’s to be expected.

Also why don’t we know fuck all about what’s happening on the Res, with the Market Equities people, the airport on the Dutton ranch, etc?

Beth did say she was going to help him get laid... maybe the protest and Summer are all just part of her master plan to help him get some "earned" nookie?

That’s a good daughter. :bowrofl:

Well I wont get into anything tonight, but i have to just say

How the fuck can they just give Teeter the boot? Shes fucking BRANDED. Does the brand mean nothing anymore? And spending almost an entire episode on this Walker/Lloyd shit is just getting tiring. I HOPE this is the last of it. I mean Garrett fucking TOLD Jamie he put the hit out on the Duttons and he'd do it again until he gets it right and we're wasting time with this shit. Ok I'm ranting now. I need to stop.

I thought tonight’s episode was lame. I’m tired of the Walker and Lloyd story already. It wasted about half the episode.

I’d reckon it’s over.

I thought this episode at least had some direction to it. I watched it on my phone once it went live on prime at midnight, I’ll probably watch it tomorrow again during breakfast and have some actual thoughts.

Agree about booting teeter out. The brand doesn’t mean anything anymore I guess. Don’t really care about the other girls leaving.

Jaime is so fucking lost. You could see it when he’s confronted with Beth at the end, it’s like he thinks she knows everything and cowers.

I hope they bring teeter back after they realize she is branded, I agree with them getting rid of the other girls in the bunk house, but they shouldnt have gotten rid of Teeter.

Though John has made mention about no girls in the bunk house a few times before in earlier seasons like when Avery was in there, so maybe he's just sticking to that? :dunno:

I’m kind of digging Jimmy’s storyline particularly in the last episode. You can tell that he finally took to heart what John said about representing the Yellowstone brand.

I liked seeing him suck it up in front of the other guy until after he left then you saw how run down he was from working and riding all day.

I agree. Dude’s been basically reconstructed surgically and grins and bears it. Can barely walk but drags the roping dummy out and gets to work.

Did you not watch the latest episode? He manned up and didn’t show that he was in pain and spent hours trying to learn to rope.
His character is just a side show at this point...I honestly dont now what they're gonna do with him, other than maybe have him be the lead in the spinoff?

I'm not discounting that he manned up for 60 seconds on screen but that doesnt redeem the writers from basically writing him off but still keeping him around.

I'm just frustrated with this season...this isn't the best the show has to offer.

Cliffs-Jimmy has one person he loves (Mia), he can't come back to her until he's ready, he's come to the realization that he needs to man up and learn from the 6666's how to cowboy. The quicker he absorbs their knowledge, the quicker he gets back to Mia. But there's an obvious plot twist since she's gone. Maybe she's heading down to Jimmy?
