Yeah not me but for the wife. A fresh off the truck 2021 Wranger Unlimited Sport S. Hydro blue. 2.0 turbo hybrid. Had to almost walk out of the finance office three times to get them to remove all the fluff from the deal. What a huge pain but it’s done and we bought it right. She’s happy. Running boards already ordered.

Congrats! Love the Hydro Blue! Huge fellow Jeeper here, I’ve got a 2018 Mojito JL, a 2020 Gladiator, and a 2021 392 Wrangler! If you’ve got any questions about mods, etc. feel free to hit me up or check out my YT Channel! I’ve got tons of how to’s and install vids for the JL there ??

Yeah I saw your videos on the 392 Wrangler. That thing is money. The price sucks otherwise I would have gotten that one for her. But aside from that, they are awesome. We just ordered some aftermarket running boards for it and shes going to want a small lift soon.

Next mod in the books. I installed a set of 2” billet Rough Country wheel spacers. We were getting some lock to lock rubbing and lots of rubbing in 4x4. Plus it was looking a little weak at its stock stance. I think it looks better. All torqued to 140. Looks mean as shit, no more rubbing and it’s noticeably more planted in street driving/corners.
Next mod will be to convert all exterior lighting to LED.

why would you want your car tires out past the fenders?
Pretty standard stuff for jeep wranglers with big tire packages and lifts and so on. Sure for a car, it looks dumb. But for Truck/Jeeps its very common. I think it looks much more muscular and its made the jeep feel more stable at speed as well. Hers came with the rubicon wheels/tires, but they were tucked way under the fenders. Didnt look great once the running boards when on.

OOC what's the draw for having a jeep in FL? Isn't there like a whole 100' of elevation change across the state, then mostly swamps/sand/paved streets?

Friend of mine took his down to Miami when he moved and couldn't wait to get rid of it. The ride was really harsh, and on the highway (going to/from St. Augustine) was terrible.

Well for my wife (lol), its mainly for the look and the open air driving. Shes not an offroader. The most offroad she does is parking on the sidewalk at the football/cheer field when she takes my daughter to football games for her cheer. The lot is super busy and all the jeeps and SUVs make their own parking spots all over the sidewalks and grass when there is no parking. Thats all she does lol. Ocala national forest has a few hundred miles of jeep trails as well. There are some local sandpits and we take it to the beach with the tops all off. Its her vehicle and its what shes always wanted. And its easy to have here in FL. Once the dry season kicks off in the next month, I will take off the hard top and store it and she should be able to drive the whole winter here until may with it off with just a bikini top or something similar.

It looks like it’s got car tires on it though. Get some actual knobs.

They are the stock rubicon wheels/tires. But yeah we want to get a bigger set when we get a lift for it. Probably a small lift next year. Like I said this is a mall crawler for her.
Looking good man! Have you thought about removing the plastic piece between the front bumper and the fender flares?

Also, I saw that you torqued the wheel spacers to 140 but did you put some loctite on the lugs?

I bought some with intent to do so. But after reading several sites, some said not to put it on if you plan to take the spacers off at some point. We might get smaller ones depending on the size of the new wheels. I dont want to snap off the studs trying to get them off.

I would at least do blue loctite if I were you. I’ve been running a small amount of red loctite on each stud and my impact breaks them free when needed.
