Does it make sense if you have ~$145k total in debt?
Go for the Slim Jim plan. Work long enough to have enough positive equity to sell it all off (liquidate) and leave the country (be an ex-pat). Like $200,000 will get you a nice condo in the Caribbean. Just need enough after that to sustain yourself. The USD goes pretty far down there. Or really anywhere in the Tropics (between Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn). LIke, the south of Spain sounds nice too.

Ah well then yea
Well then what? She just chose her location wisely, but I feel like most hospitals will pay for schooling if you sign a contract with them. It’s one profession that the price of school is totally worth it.

she's doing it right
She got it made for the rest of her life. Especially if she lived there BEFORE all these cucks started fucking up the Montana housing market the last 12 months.

Bruh I hear all about this lol. My sis is still in montana living the generator and water tank lyfe in a big camper. They had a solid plan to live in the camper and buy a prefab after 6-12 months, things got totally fucked this year, and they said YOLO we're still heading out and will figure it out. Maaad props for that shit, I wouldn't be interested in it. Literally just show up on 20 acres of land covered in trees and bushes, with nowhere to store any equipment, and figure it out

They're building a barn to put the camper in for winter and still don't know what they're going to do for a house long term. Leaning towards GC'ing their own house or barndominium over time, that's what their "neighbors" are doing.

Megan has said the exact same shit.

Sell the house, buy a camper and land where ever we're going, and just rough it until we can build a polebarn or some building.

I'm all about that life.

Just overheard my bosses computer at their IT manager meeting and they're really pushing everyone to start utilizing me for the actual role I'm here for, so I'm awaiting the "Carter stop building laptops for Acres, you're overlord property now" and I don't have to go into the office.

The economy there is booming, but also means shit is getting expensive. At least no sales tax! Her family is in KC and my brothers family is all here. So I think she is saving to buy a house for cash here and is just gonna fly back and forth to Montana for the weeks she works. They change their mind a lot tho so who knows.

Also they have lifetime plates if you pay for it :fy:
One day when i have a cool car i'll prob do the montana plate deal. Hyoooge money to be saved doing that.

My friend did it with his R8, paid like $900 all-in for the corporation setup, plates, and registration. If he'd have registered it in indiana the taxes alone would have been $10k+

i have a legitimate hatred for people that are always trying to game the system with sick leave and FMLA. Triple hatred for people over 65 that are doing that instead of retiring even though they have pension, healthcare AND 401k.

have some fucking dignity and get your old ass out so we can hire someone, instead of being short-staffed because your lazy ass wants a paycheck but doesn't want to work
