The Deere’s definitely feel far more antique than the Farmall tractors do. Even the later 730’s with the pony engine start. Such wild tech. If I was ever going to have a few tractors laying around that were just toys, it would be some old Deere’s.
Totally agree with you. My only point of comparison is to the 8N's, which are older than the 60 yet they seem so much more refined.
But the Deere sound is just so distinctive and cool.
My buddy has a 1938 B that he's done a ton of shit to - high compression head, lengthened rods, etc...through a 4" straight pipe it's ridiculously loud and awesome.
