Installed the throttle body and the new cold air last night. The new TB is not only wider but longer in the way it sits off of the blower. This created issues with installing the CAI. I ended up having to hack off about an 1” of the tube to get it to sit properly. Only other issue I’m having right now is the stupid fucking PCV sensor that brought me here in the first place….it now sits too high creating slight interference with the hood. I’ll probably just get a shorter elbow to sit in the intake tube and run a super short hose to the sensor. Other than that car is running fine, no issues. I have some new air sucking sounds going on which I love. Still need to upload new flex tune for this pulley. Oil needs to be changed as well.

The PCV sensor issue was driving me NUTS just thinking about it. I was able to cobble together a solution in the garage this morning utilizing the PCV hose from the passenger side of the car that was removed for my catch can setup and some random shit I’ve had laying around from other car projects.

Hood now closes effortlessly and there are no codes being thrown so it does as intended.

Something that irks me is the filter now covers a portion of the JLT logo because of the trimming, but I’ll deal with it for the eXtRa gAiNz.

How does that JLT compare to the Afe you had?

They have their plus’s and minuses. I like the aFe fitment better along with its air filter. The knock though on the aFe is the location of the PCV fitting in the coupler.

I like the enclosed space for the filter on the JLT, it is more complete than the aFe.
