Redfin for car guys. Only garage and basement pics. Makes one sentence mention of remaining house features.

I asked a realtor why no one ever posts pictures of inside the garage. He told me because in most cases it isn't a selling point and most people are not interested in the garage. "I could post hundreds of pictures of all around and inside a house but I don't. You don't want to show every inch of a house. You want buyers to schedule a showing to see the rest. If they see anything they don't like in the pictures they could dismiss the home before viewing it. Garages typically do not photograph well, alot of the times messy or unfinished, or not up to code. You don't want to put that out on the internet."

If I list a home with a nice, clean garage, I post pics. Most recent home I listed was full of storage, covered motorcycles, was a mess and had ashtrays and Harley posters all over. It's tough to find a good photo angle for that.

yeah when I was selling my house it hurt me a little to jam pack the garage with stuff from the house. The large 1 car had its own sub panel, multiple 110v and 240v outlets, 6 4ft led converted lamps and was spotless white.

Most all houses I looked at were like that. Garages just jam packed.

So wife and I are looking.......again. Already had two offers get turned down due to better offers and "stronger" financing. I guess they see who we get financed through, but if I can get the money and already preapproved for more than what I offered, what is the problem?

Both were even $10K more than asking. I dont miss this BS.

That sucks, where are you looking at. We're looking in the area of Hartland WI. The house in Joliet is getting ready to go on the market in a few weeks, man I'm concerned about offloading our house then winding up homeless because a house fell through.

On the plus side the house we are looking at just dropped another 10K. Hopefully it's around after we get our house on the market....

Right? I did do a street view and there are two driveways that lead to the 4 car garage. Talk about a metric fuck ton of parking.

If it was my decision alone, Id be on my way to see it. The wife is looking into it with the realtor. Hoping to possibly see it either tomorrow or Thursday the latest.

Double edged sword, but its been on the market for 34 days. There is a barn next to the property and Im wondering if that might have something to do with it, or if something is wrong with the house and or land. I can also see someone getting sticker shock at the real taxes since I highly doubt that is less than $1100 a year in taxes.

Ohhh I’d walk from that. I’m Not a fan of the steep slope almost vertical shingles on any house. My sister had a house with them and it had water issues all the time and had to have the entire roof torn off and redone. Turns out most shingles are not designed to be installed on a steep slope. Hopefully these are the correct shingles and installed correctly.

Good questions to ask actually. Thanks for the heads up!

yeah I’d just make absolute sure they are good. My sister ended up paying a roofer to tear off and reinstall their steep slopes roof sections. I think they have to use additional nails on the shingles and an adhesive. good luck! I love the look of that driveway and garage. Let us know how the garage looks.
