Cleaning my disgusting fucking garbage cans from my party last week. I had 4 garbage cans with bags in them around my yard. But people still thru food and shit in the big cans with no bags that the garbage company dumps every week. So all that food and shit has sat for a week as they picked up garbage today. Used a whole gallon of bleach between the 2 cans. SMFH

South of Wisconsin.
Buncha shit. Just installed a Ring doorbell at the new house, replaced the lightbulbs in the front door with the Hue bulbs and cleaned all the bugs and shit out of it, setup the Hue in the house as well as the WiFi, pulled a new wire for an outlet so it is no longer switched, installed a latch on the door to the basement, probably more I’m missing and more to do.

It used to be my work truck but my boss wrote it off and it's mine but still at work. I work on it after hours.
Any thoughts on doing that for an 07 Silverado NNBS (6.5’?bree My rear wheel arches are rotted away, along with the rocker panels. Good news is the cab corners are solid.

trying to find somewhere to get it looking better, but doesn’t have to be factory fresh, it’s got 183k miles on it. Body rotting and rusting, interior is like 95% and mechanical is solid too. Would really like to keep it another 10 years and 200k miles, but there won’t be any sheet metal left.

Spent an hour in the basement working on removing texture from the drywall. Started on this wall and I’m covered in dust, my hand/arm/shoulder is sore and I’m barely making progress.

I’m going to get quotes from a professional, this sucks and I’m not doing a great job.

we have theatre seating that we just ordered coming in mid October (as of now) so I wanna get the basement ready for it (texture removed and walls painted in the theatre room)

my test panel from earlier this week and then full scale on that wall.

blue-sun blue-sun have you tried spraying it with hot hot water and letting it soak some before you scrape it?
Jon01 Jon01 I soaked with water, it wasn’t hot. After some trial and error the first half hour or so, I did get a routine down eventually. Soak about a foot tall section of the wall from side to side. Rough scrape with the big putty knife the peaks of the texture. Then some again and go with a smaller knife and get down to the drywall. That foot tall section would take me about 10-15 mins to get done. (The wall is 6-7 feet wide approximately)

then when all the walls are done I’ll need to skim and sand before final paint.
