I got a cheap amazon special shorty handle and different degree nozzle combo. Works great I have to say. I do need to get a longer hose so I don’t have to move the little Ryobi unit around.

If you go to a Menards just build a pressure washer kit... I took a gun, spun on a wand, attached it to a hose, left all the tags on and the cashier only scanned one tag

Okay pressure washer gurus.... I've had two garden hoses blow out in the same spot and am trying to figure out what the hell is happening. I'm guessing that the pump is toast and pressure is somehow going backwards, or maybe the unloader or something?

Is it worth trying to rebuild the pump or is it going to be cheaper to just buy a new pressure washer? :dunno:

My GFCI plug went out on my Ryobi 1600 and I got an extension and made it longer. I like it better that way, but in my case, the water source is out of the garage at the back of the house. I plug the Ryobi inside the garage and get the water from the back so I can not worry about water on the plug and use it in the driveway. win-win for me!

Are you opening the plug side or the pressure washer? I haven't even looked at it yet.

There are like 8-10 Phillips head screws you access the from the bottom to open up the case. From there unscrew 2 Phillips head screws to release the cord from being held down, follow the cord under the pump to the power switch, pull the white/black wires with push connectors off of the switch, cut the cord down to the desired size with enough length to make it through the unit out the backside, put new push connectors on the ends of the wire after stripping or strip/join the cut ends together using an isolated crimp connector, and then reassemble.

My Harbor Freight pressure washer took a shit. The fucker wasn't even a year old. Anyways I've been shopping Ryobi's.

Thoughts on this one? Overkill?

What happened? No power? Try bypassing the GFCI plug (if it had one). That's what happened to my Ryobi.
