So, for those that know about this car, i do still have this mythical creature lol. I picked this car up about 6 years ago, after i had sold my '12 Mustang and my first Raptor to wipe out car payments. The plan was to enjoy the car, drive it and just have fun. That plan went quickly out the window, as anyone could of guessed. The car overall was extremely clean, and had mods but it wasn't enough. Slowly i started taken off parts, and selling things which i didn't plan to use, well that ended up being almost every damn part of the car  During this time, i also started my shop, which pretty much threw the car to the side, as all my money and time was being put to getting the shop going. Over the years, i slowly started to get an idea of where i wanted to go with it, so accumulated parts that would support the goal, and boy is it expensive lol. I can't give too many details when it comes to final numbers, and track times out of respect for other racers, but will release low boost numbers. The car will be setup for 1/8 racing, and small tire. It will likely bounce between prep and no prep events. So for now, im gonna start uploading whatever pics i have of it. I will update as my motor gets done, chassis finished, cage, wiring, turbo setup, etc go on.

There are some fast ass 1/8 mile fox bodies running street races only. Saw a few over the summer and they are fucking moving.
All of them are running LS motors though.

Definitely, these cars book when done right. While the LS platform is great, im trying to stay as Ford as i can. The only non ford part is the trans, which is a Proformance Th400. This one actually has a sleeved 2020 GT500 block built with top end parts, GT350 heads fully reworked and all the other goodies to support as much as the turbo can put out.

Man this car has been collecting dust over the years. Can’t wait to see it run. Drew you gonna take it out on the street at all? Be fun to get you out to Mexico with us although the TH400 might be an issue for that type of racing.

Yes it has, mostly because it's such an expensive build, slowly buy stuff as i can. Thankfully im about 90% there in parts now, so can get rocking on it once my heads come back in about 5-6 weeks. It is still gonna be plated, insured, and street driveable with half interior and roll down windows. I may even put a radio in the car, depending what it weighs in at once together. Target weight is 2500 lbs. I'm not sure how much highway cruising i'll doing in this, it has a 6000rpm stall currently lol. I have the other car to get down and have fun with.

Mmmmm, billet deliciousness... The intake is one of MMR's bad boy units, with an A/W core that will more then support my build. Still unsure what I'm doing for the rest of system, but will likely end up with a HE up front and tank out back. I want to be able to run the car, and not have to worry about ice each time I want to make a hit. The throttle body is a GT350 unit, just under 90mm in size. Im going to attempt to weld on a flange, so I can run a a clampshell type connection. The weld flange should be in tomorrow. Yes, I chose to go with a dbw unit, cause I like a cleaner, no cable look, and can control it with the Holly. I like the option of being able to control blade position for whatever it be, launch, traction, etc. I like my options, and a clean engine bay lol.

So happy to finally have my block back, can start working on getting the short block built. This is a 2020 GT500 block, with Darton sleeves, bitch better hold up ? The Predator block as its referred to is the second generation 5.2 block. Has some casting differences which give more strength around the cylinders, as well as bigger and deeper head studs for clamping force. These factory use no cylinder liners, they are Plasma sprayed bores.

Here's a shot when it came in from Ford, and currently after the sleeves. I'll post more pics once its on the stand, with the other goodies I have going in.
