So many places I want to stop and take pictures. I don't dare though on a road, it's all up and down, curves... Most of these Hill Jack's are cranking 15-20 over the limit, thus don't wanna get ran the fuck over as I'm out being a tourist.... Hahaha
Just like my dads, up and down, and every curve is blind. Plus those lines on the road don’t mean shit.

Left, center, and many times on the right, doesn’t matter. Semi’s, logging trucks, and dump trucks give zero fucks. They use the whole road. That’s what killed a relative in Kentucky. Logging truck was on a road to narrow and windy for it, it cut into oncoming traffic to get around a tight S-bend and drove right over the relative’s Blazer, crushing her.

Oh you can bet I'll be bringing the cruiser down. Already went over the plan with my dad. Drive to his place with cruiser in back of truck, bunk for the night, take the cruiser down there for the day, bunk for the night, ride back, stay at my dad's, load up then drive home. Nice four day weekend when weather permits.

Just need to order some new ramps. The ones I have are at end of life and I don't trust them to support the weight of the bike, safely.

Makes me wish I had a truck. It's a little chilly this time of year to ride down, and I don't really wanna put a hitch on the GTI to pull my bike.

I have been thinking of taking the car on a roadtrip down there to camp though.
I'd rather keep my GTI with the hitch than have to get a truck!

It's a lot easier to load with the trailer, too. Each time I load into the back of my truck using two ramps I wonder if it'll be the first time I have an issue. When I load the ATV it doesn't matter. That beast can drop from the 3' from the tailgate and shake if off like a gnat.

Are you DSG? Im M6, I don't know if that much weight will overwork my clutch
The only way you'd overwork your clutch is if you were going full throttle and it started slipping as a result of the extra load. If you drive with the normal flow of traffic while using the trailer, it'll hold up just fine. Starting off from a dead stop might require a little more finesse, but only for an extra moment until you're moving and have it fully engaged. Just think of it as having 4 - 300 lb people in your car, except it won't kill your suspension. :)
