I just really don't believe this...... The abs does not apply more pressure, it just applys it 100x faster than you can.... Pulsating abs will not slow a car more than you standing on the brakes and NOT sliding.

Now if your tires are sliding then yes abs helps stop...

What I’m trying to say is, the brakes were so weak, even if I wanted to get ABS to activate, I couldn’t. ABS only comes into play when the sensor senses lockup, obvi. To get the brakes to lock you need enough braking potential (pressure, surface area, etc).If you’re standing on the brakes, and the ABS is pulsing away, I agree, not going to stop you faster/shorter. But weak ass brakes that can’t provide the stopping power to lock up the brakes are going to prevent you from stopping faster/shorter too.

Thank you, this was what I was trying to convey. I should be able to at least activate the "pulse" on dry pavement if you stab the pedal fast enough, point being the brakes just flat out sucked. I also recall the brake pedal going almost flat to the floor trying to do a panic stop as well.

Just buy the 5 quart jugs at Meijer and save money all the time.
Oddly, the six packs from Costco work for me. The truck takes six even, and the car takes five. Since the truck has the DoD it'll burn a little extra over the course of a few thousand miles, depending on the frequency and duration it is engaged. So the extra 1 quart from the car's case goes with the truck :)

I'm just speaking from a cost perspective. Meijer is lower every day it seems. Usually an M1 5qt jug is anywhere from $24 - $27. Valvoline and the other brands are usually a dollar or two cheaper. All day, every day.
When it goes on sale at Costco I think it's down to ~$32, so it falls in like with that roughly $5 - $5.50/qt range. But yeah, I used to get it at Meijer before I had a Costco membership.

Shit, with everything looking as good as it does, why not?

I've never had issues running decent synth oil out between 5-7500. Never could do the 10k Mobil 1 or the 1 year :amsoil:, but putting a good filter and good oil, never bothered me at that mileage.

Just can't break that stigma. Cause direct injected also may be putting alot of gas into the oil. I'll go 4500.lol
