Yeah they were giving these away free when you got an oil change at regular price on a cobalt. This is worth half what hes asking...
He’s par for the course of cars with 50-70k miles on it. Is it pricey? Yes but also like new and the market has sky rocketed

I don’t get these cars. It’s beautiful but I have no idea why 3 year old Chevys can fetch 45k. This is used S6 money. Reminds me of how GTOs could go way above market for awhile.

The used car market is bonkers right now.
Because it is arguably one of the best sport sedans ever made. The suspension, brakes, and drivetrain is excellent. I’d say the only drawback is it’s a Chevy interior, but I like their interiors. I’d choose the SS over any S6 period

Ugh, I should of bought one brand new when the dealer was marking them 30% off. Could get them in the low to mid $30k’s.

I was gonna say this. I personally have a hard time giving someone $40k+ plus for a used car, no matter the mileage or "market appreciation" knowing that I could've walked out with one new for $30k. I went through the same process with the G8 GXP's too. I just didn't have the money at either time, but it's those mental gymnastics.

This. Many consider it to be a successor to the E39 M5.

The SS market is crazy. I kick myself all the time for not picking one up when you could find them easy for sub-$40k. My buddy had one, and I didn't want to be a copy cat, but god damn was I stupid....now the market is crazy...I still don't understand how GM fucked the marketing on this car up soooooo bad. I mean, most people, even some "car people", don't know what the hell it is, and that's probably the biggest issue...had people just, you know, KNOWN about it...

Thanks man! These guys are weak compared to the shit talkers in the Corvette Groups! I think the C4 Corvette owners think this is a V6 Malibu or something!

That’s because all vehicle values are way up.....with the exception of powershit ford sedans and c4 corvettes. They jealous ?

I absolutely love driving mine. I drive a lot of different cars, but when I drive my SS, I always think, man...they got this thing right. I haven't been in it in a while, but took my daughter to practice in it yesterday. Out of nowhere, she made a comment on how much she likes the ride. She's not in anyway a car person at all and it made an impression on her. I can't see myself ever getting rid of it. There's nothing I would rather have.

The stick ones are bringing close to $50k!
It is nuts, but I definitely get it. I was considering picking one up before I bought the Vette. I even found the exact one I wanted, but ultimately I decided it was too much to pay for what I wanted. They are kind of unicorns.
