Power finally came back on at 3:50am this morning. I tried running my cpap on the DeWalt Generaqtor and got 2.5 hours out of the tiny 20v batteries.

Need to stock that fucker up with 60v 9.0ah batteries and Im guessing I would at least get a full night out of it on my cpap.

Should probably look into a smaller generator as well, just need to run the fridge really, also the cpap if the DeWalt with big batteries doesnt cut it.

Picked up this little number just now. I run all of their products so I have quite a few of their batteries fully charged. Should run the freezer and fridge for hours. Enough to hopefully get me through to the night

Stop using batteries for everything. A generator is one thing I would never even think about going battery.
Next time text me and you can borrow my GAS generator as long as my power isnt out.

Events like this are a solid reminder that Linemen are the real MVP’s
If you knew what those fuckers make and the amount of work they actually do. Highly doubt you would be saying that. I have 2 buddies who do it for Comed, 1 overhead and 1 underground. Few yrs ago one of them got stuck working X-Mas near my house. He spent 6hrs at my house eating and watching basketball, lol.

I honestly just need my cpap to run and the DeWalt generator will run it all night no problem off the batteries if I get the larger batteries.

It's honestly just a way to get myself to buy the batteries I've wanted for awhile now anyway. :bowrofl:

We have all of my family living in Streamwood still as well, we should probably all split a generator so it can go wherever it is needed.

for $1200 you could buy 3 dual fuel 4000w units

but let us know how it runs and for how long. A silent generator would be nice.

I considered a gas one however everywhere is sold out near me no surprise.

From everything I’ve read this will do my fridge and freezer etc for 20-30 hours. Not bad for something silent sitting in my kitchen
