So here is my dilemma with my 2021 Hoe LTZ. Went and sat down with a suspension guy in Joliet to discuss different options.

My first choice is a nice off road style of wheel (black) with big tires. That will require a 6" lift and some trimming unless I do a 20" with a 33. But I want to go big, I want 24" or 26" with a 35. However all of those wheels would stick out waaayyyyy past the fenders and 1/4 panels which I do not want. I'm fine with them sticking out a hair or 2, but not half the wheel. Biggest I can go that wont stick out is a 22" wheel, but I'm afraid it will look small with the 6" lift. Guy at suspension shop said it wont, it will look decent. He said a 6" lift isnt all that big and I'm thinking in my head that it is.

Thoughts on a 22" with a 6" lift?

2nd choice is a 26" wheel similar to my Regal, chrome lip with machined face or all black wheel but will be on a rubber band tire. That only requires a level and some trimming as well. Not as much trimming as an off road style wheel but still needs trimming. I actually know a tow truck driver in the city with some $8k rims for $4500, pretty sure he would take $4k. But they are 28" which means my tire would be like a 30 where on the 6's I can have a 35

well, rim diameter does not mean it will stick out. width and offset does pending on what those are.

and what look are you really wanting to go for. mall crawler off road, or big rim little tire.
Oh I know, the issue is all the 24" or 26" are X 12 or 14 with a huge negative offset.
I'm torn between the aggressive look or the smooth look if that makes sense.
I definitely dont want a mall crawler if that means the wheel stick out way past the fenders. I'm okay with them poking out a little bit

LOL, those are the exact same rims I had on my 18 Tahoe. Yes I can get 26x10 on a rubber band tire like the pic you posted.
But cant find a nice 24" or 26" off road rim that doesnt have a huge negative offset

I like lifted trucks as much as I like fast cars. The recent trend for lifted trucks and big wheels is ok if done right. I personally would not do a low low profile rubberband tire if I was commuting with the vehicle in the city. I like the aggressive tire look. I looked on my FB group for lifted trucks and saw these examples. Hope they help:

Thanks bud, but those all have a huge negative offset. I dont care for that look and the rock chips along the whole side of my truck that would come with it.

I thought you bought this to save money? Leave it alone it looks great stock!

Or if you HAVE to spend some of the money you're saving, I'd go with the lowered look above.
I had to shave money of monthly debt, doesnt mean I cant go pay cash for rims and lift or level. I wasnt struggling financially by any means, had to get it right on paper.
