You guys see this? Reminds me of the crash a year or two ago on the east coast (new hampshire?) when the drunk driver from MA with a trailer crossed the centerline and took out a group of riders.

A few of my buddies were friends with Michael White, him and another Niles Police officer were two of the three that passed. Very sad news

I'm thinking of selling my bike. Would you guys list it now, or hold onto it until spring? Still plenty of riding weather left around here, but don't they usually sell faster and for more cash in spring?
I'd list it, anything powersports-related is selling for top dollar right now. Motorcycle sales are up for the first time in forever.

Lotta people sitting on hoards of government cheese with nowhere to vacation to, so they buy fun stuff

Thats kind of what I was thinking. I guess I should figure out what I want for it. Probably easier to also pay off the last little bit before I list it.

That's a sweet looking bike. But my knees and wrists just cringe in pain looking at the ergonomics. I've ridden the 748/916/996, and eventually the 1098, and they are not meant for being in traffic, at all. It's why I keep looking at the Monsters, or maaayyyyybe a Streetfigher.

I removed the bug antennae mirrors and installed some CRG folding bar end mirrors. Just got back from riding from Plainfield to Morris along Cemetary Road in Channahon and back. It is a scorcher outside! Found a good spot to demonstrate the chainsaw ability of the Husqvarna near Minooka. ?

I’ve made that run a few times. We’ll cross the river and run the road along it back East. There’s a place you can cross with a covered bridge that’s fun to go through. At the end of the road there is a good fish restaurant.

I’d have to pull up a map to get the exact names.

edit: Pine Bluff Rd on the south side. Go north on Will Rd for the covered bridge, which is crossing the Dresden Cooling Lake. The restaurant is where the Des Plaines River ties in, Big Fish Grill.

But somehow I feel you know this already, lol.

Also, we’d take County Road 8000E north, which ends up facing west and becoming Collins Rd, and finishes at the reservoir, then walk around and stretch our legs.
