Sooo, couldn't wait any longer for my '94 cobra to be done, needed my fix lol. As seeing how my other turd box is moving away from 'street car' manors, I wanted something I could take out to shows, cruise, and just enjoy. I do plan to fuck this car up, so for any Shelby purists, this thread will not be your friend. I'm not a big road race guy, been there, and done that with some of my older cars. While fun, I like my short burst, lame 1/4 mile racing that takes no skill (kidding). Some may remember me, some may not, for those that do, you know what's coming lol.

I picked up the car a few weeks ago from Fargo ND, was a long trip but worth it. Car is bone stock, with 2600 miles on it. It's a lead foot gray, strip delete car, babied its whole life. Heres some pics from that journey. Left at 7am, got back at 3am that night. Was so tired, just pulled the trailer in the garage with the car and said fuck it lol.

And in typical fashion, before I even got plates on the car, I had it out at GLD for a banger event ?

I put it on a tune, poured some love juice (E90) in it, and installed one of the CAI's I build in house for them. Found a few issues that need to addressed, suspension which has horrible wheel hop and a factory launch control that is slow as shit to come on. Got suspension coming, and a few other mods for it to address areas of concern.

Awesome Drew! Lockout kit, frpp toe bearings, and LCA bearings should be first for suspenion out back. The diff bolts can be upgraded easily with 12.9 hardware and through bolting the front mounts.

How'd she do the first time out?

Yeah, got all BMR suspension coming for outback, and a tubular k to make some room up front, and drop weight. In stock form, the suspension works, just super soft as you know. I ended up actually ordering AED knuckles as well, so i can slap a 15" wheel out back, in preparation for whats coming  My first trip wasn't the best, but it went from my garage, to the trailer, so zero seat time to test. First leave, i just tried to hold throttle, and slip, bogged horribly. Realized the gearing is way to tall, and needs to leave high. Put it on the factory launch control, then got nasty wheel hop, so had to back out of it. Third time i lowered it, bogged slightly, but sixty still not where i want it. Gonna do some 4.09 gears out back, and putting on a real two step. The stock one is slow to come on, definitely not good for a pro tree, which is what they ran in banger class.

Blower incoming?

I was actually gonna keep it on motor, so ordered headers, but back ordered till middle of Sep since everything is still behind. Ended up going twins, doing a pair of Comp's new air cooled units on a mid mount setup.

So friggen jealous.... Perfect color.

Thanks!

THE perfect color for that car. God damn. Congrats!

Thank you, was not easy to find at all. Most are priced way too high, or can't even find a stripe delete car.

Don’t mention BMR around here. greasy greasy had some parts damaged by a shipper and he’s still pissed at BMR! Haha

Also I think I just sold my brand new 2 step that I never got around to and just don’t think I want to bother with.

Haha, i don't blame him. Have my own issues with BMR, but mostly due to back orders taking month or two. Was like this even last year with them, so not just this year due to the Covid bs. Have also found a few product issues, last being vertical links for an S550, went to install and had wrong spherical adapter ends where the bolts go through, had to drill them out to size for stock bolts. I have a N2MB from my '12 still here, that i never installed, otherwise would grab yours.

Congrats drew the car looks brand new

Thanks, definitely got lucky with finding it. He even had the original floor mats, plate bracket, and window sticker still in the plastic, as Ford sent it. He gave me some crankshaft as well, which im assuming has the vin or cars serial number on it, that Ford sent out to all new owners. I still have yet to look at it lol
