What’s more, according to Road & Track, Jeep has already built 30 prototypes at its Toledo, Ohio plant, suggesting FCA might have green-lit the car for production anyway. This wouldn’t be much of a surprise - the company is likely well aware of how a V8 Wrangler might be received without the need to check with a concept. It’s more likely a PR exercise, given the timing of its release.

Id think those are mules not concepts

I mean if Ford REALLY wanted to match the V8 Wrangler, they can just throw the Raptor 3.5 in there or even just pump the power a bit from the 3.0TT. But I'd imagine that's a couple years out.

I was kiiding about the 7.3 swap but when the brsnd new crate is 8k you know people will do it.

I am a little surprised I havnt head of 7.3 F150 swaps yet.

Id get this for a F150 or Bronco not in a Mustang tho.
Most people realize that engine swaps are unnecessary and impractical to achieve what 99.999999% of car enthusiasts want to achieve with a street-driven vehicle. That's why they haven't really been a common "thing" for 10+ years. 3.5 or 5.0 f150's can go high 11's with minimal mods....why the hell would someone put a giant 7.3 in there and deal with all the electronics issues just to go slower

Just cuz you said it... The 7.3 isn't really giant...
