Yeah, it's crazy what we thought was quick or was quick at the time compared to now.

Nice Truck! I was even more envious of that similar color Formula you have/had! This was supposed to be my year to get a boat, but put that off for the new truck. I am a little jealous of the 6.2, but even the 5.3 with the 10 speed is leaps and bounds ahead of the old 4 speed so i'm ok, haha! Have you had your truck ceramic coated or anything? I am looking into getting that done.

i haven't had anything done, just done some of the spray on wax/coatings that are on some threads on here.

doing it "for real" though is something id like to do.

Press traction control button to turn off TC. The press and hold until stabilitrak says disabled. It'll help with the launch. The disabled I posted is needed, because Stabilitrak re-engages after 30-35mph. Very lame

so i did this, it let me get the rpm's up before launch so that's good, i need to play with it more. i did get a 1.98 60ft with it, but want to get it down further

i did try to go in just 2wd once this morning but it burns off the rears still.

i had the best trap ive had at 101.03 this morning. "only" a 13.84 though on a different run with a 2.00 60'.

1.8 would be sweet cuz the mph is there for a 13.5, just a lot of weight to get out of the hole.

Yaj Yak Yaj Yak Thats a pretty damn quick full size truck!

Not race truck related, as I only have a 5.3. Not sure if you have Bose or not with the sub thats in the center console. Even with the Bose I felt like it needed more. Ordered the factory add-on 10" kicker setup for under the rear seat from GM. I'm sure you use the area for storage likely, but I'll definitely report back. Bolts in and wiring is plug and play except for one to the engine bay I think. It just arrived today. For roughly 600$, I'm sure it'll do the trick.

alright so i'm about 16,600 miles in, 300 days.

of those miles, around 4200 are towing miles.

the built in trailering app is fucking AWESOME. i love how it recalls what trailer i have connected and it's correct trailer brake settings.

if i had my own camper trailer/enclosed, the trailer TPMS sensors would be sweet too for big trips. also, the trailer maintenance reminders are sweet since the truck knows how many miles what trailer has on it.

The one trip I reset when I got the truck, as it was driven to the dealer, so avg mpg since I've had it is 14.9... But again. 25% of those miles are trailering.

Avg speed is 41 mph.

Best "last 50 mile" mpg is 26.7 but was a hero run on Rt 41 where it's flat af at 67mph.

I typically see 17.5-19.5 right now driving "typical" during the week.

I'm impressed with the 26.7mpg on flat ground doing 67mph. Best I can get like that is maybe 21 or 22 with the AFM/DoD, but I have the smaller 5.3 (LY5) w/4psd and 3.73 gears. In order for me to see that kind of mileage on flat ground I'd have to be down around 45mph.
