Iā€™ve been spending about $1.65-$1.75/ lb for plates on offer up. I lucked up on some bowflex 5-52 lb adjustables for $500.
Prior to this, you could get lucky and find plates for .50lb-.75lb, and $1.00 was the high side. I have those same Bowflex and paid $250 or $300 for them like 7 months ago. You paying $500 wasnt bad as I see them going for $750-$1000. I want the 52lb-95lb next but will wait till this shit is over with.

Waiting is a good idea.... Iā€™ve seen those for $1,800.

I was able to get a Hulkfit rack for $499 from Amazon right at the start of the stay home order. I think they have gone up in price, if they are even available. Now everything is super expensive and takes weeks to ship. Iā€™ve been spending about $1.65-$1.75/ lb for plates on offer up. I lucked up on some bowflex 5-52 lb adjustables for $500. I donā€™t think Iā€™m going back to the gym now. I have too much invested at home and there is no risk of getting sick.
Racks and a quality barbell seem relatively easy to find still. Problem is finding weights. Not a chance in hell im spending a grand for some used bumper plates. At this point shit will be back to normal by the time places get equipment back in stock.

Legs are the hardest thing to hit without weights. I doing okay on everything else with just a set of gymnastics rings, bands, pull up bar and a kettlebell
The only thing i've done for legs is outdoor weighted lunges with what few dumbbells I have. Plus doing them when it's nice out is great, I did around 20 sets of them sunday AM and can feel it today

Legit can not wait for some front squats and stiff leg deads...i miss the feel of a barbell

Just 19 more days until gyms reopen

Not sure if this has been mentioned. But check with your Health Insurance provider. Some offer a flat fee $30ish and allows you multi memberships to different clubs. Mine offers like 7 different clubs but LA Fitness opted out like 3 months prior to me inquiring. Had I got it before they opted out I would have been grandfathered in.

Normally I lose my winter weight in march/april, but with quarantine and no gyms that didn't happen.

Wellll now I have a track day on 5/24 and leathers aren't very flexible, so here's the plan lol. Calories under 2200, protein above 200

I may not need to get down to 219, we'll see as time goes on. PS this is not the right way to lose weight but w/e
