Truck has 7500 miles on it now.

About 5k of those are with trailers behind it.

Lifetime mileage is ~13ish i think.

Empty running 80-85ish is 16-17.

Love it all around still.

Pulled my boat very well, you can tell this truck is significantly lighter than my old truck (2300lbs?) but it pulls it a lot better than the 6.2 8-speed denali combo i used over the summer.

Gonna suck to sell the boat cuz it's a sweet looking package but whhhhhhatever.

Selling the boat because of the pontoon thing uh muh jig ?

Truck looks good man. I am seeing more and more on the road. :fu:

yes the poontoon is titties for how we boat.

thanks dude, im seeing a lot more as well.

i still feel it's really rare to see the 6 and a half foot bed versions like mine though, and i still think the bigger bed versions look waaaaay better.

i am seeing so fucking many of these 1500 sierra's around now, but im fucking PUMPED at how few i see being 6.2's.

Even waaaaaay fucking fewer, how many have 6 and a half foot baby dick beds instead of complete fuckin mini BDB's.

I do have some annoyances now though since i've had it 4? mos and 8k miles.

1. this is such a fucking "first world" problem, but best i can tell, i haven't checked too hard, but im quite sure the rear heated seats don't let you know if they are ON. like push the button, no light confirms wtf you just did. dont know how the fuck this could get missed... had someone in the back the other day:
"oh are these heated rear seats!?"
yeah! turn em on!
"wait, are they on? i pushed the button, i can't tell"
oh wtffff

2. the tailgate, which somehow other brand :nutz: fucking-neanderthal-mouthbreathers think they'd DESTROY on their 2" ball they leave in year round, even though they only use twice a year pulling a 2990 gvwr utility trailer with home depot scotts mulch on it... i found something that annoys me/affects my particular setup with my tonneau.

i can't hit my tonneau release if my large tailgate is closed and my small tailgate is open... howd i find this out? welp. got a 8' tall xmas tree, left the tonneau closed, had the tree trunk stick out the mini-gate, and when i got home, i couldn't open the large tailgate with the mini open already... and i couldn't hit the release on my tonneau cuz it's pushed up against the tailgate  took about 8 minutes of dicking with some pliers to finally get it open, had it been another 2 minutes and i was cutting the tree trunk off in the bed of my truck.

3. i can't remember if i mentioned this in here or not yet, but i wish the wheels were chrome and not polished, id assume they did this because im unsure GM ever commissioned a chrome rim that held up more than 3/4 years to any environment ever, but when my truck is minty clean, the wheels look nowhere nice as the chrome on the truck does because the chrome shines SO much brighter/clearer. i dont normally love chrome, but i feel it really works with this color and i dig it.

4. this is nitpicky af again, but the rear floor mat (cargo mat? i dunno, it's huge) is under my storage bin thing, so you can't take it out to wash it/clean it, unless you take all your shit out of the storage bin, take the storage bin out, and then you could take it out. im unsure if my truck even has carpet under the mat's in it at this point as you legit can't see any carpet with the mat's that are in it

5. the exhaust tips get dirty AF quick as hell. fucking black sooted up. i like clean things and fuck this is a battle.

6. gm's connected services/wifi/whatever bullshit, their app/website is complete utter garbage. i wanted to have wifi hotspot but not the connected services (unlock with phone, find truck with phone, data reports, whatever) and i legit couldn't do it from the app or the website. i legit had to call onstar from my truck to get it done.

the wifi is sweet though, it's through at&t, and it's 15$ a month for unlimited data. we roadtrip frequently, and the only times id go over on my plan, was when we roadtripped. also, having the wifi, the factory head unit has the weather channel, can do iheartradio, spotify & pandora with no input whatsoever from my phone. which is slick to me.

ive still never used android auto in my truck and really don't know that i will.

i was too, it sat well, i don't think any of the trailer's ive had behind it have made it sag to the point of being lower than level.
