Watched all 5 episodes this past weekend...this is a total kids show. Absurdly shallow plot, no acting whatsoever, and maybe this is just me but the puppet-like mouth movements of the alien voiced by nick nolte drove me nuts. I'm sure it was intentional but still.

I don't understand how adults can get in to this. Baby yoda is cute AF though, lol. He's the only reason I watched it

Y'all need to watch more old school westerns. You want something gritty and sci-fi-ish, watch Watchmen on HBO. This is exactly what I expect from Star Wars. Which has always been light on content, aimed towards kids, and had terrible acting. Literally every Star Wars movie ever has all the same elements that you guys are complaining about with Mando. This is what Star Wars is, and has *always* been.

This show is so poorly written and acted....and I'm sick of everyone just shrugging their shoulders b/c "its star wars and thats ok". Such a lame excuse for accepting mediocrity. I realize saying this continues to put me in the extreme minority. Where is this story going? Why do we keep getting introduced to boring side characters? This is like the Star Wars version of Seinfeld, only nowhere near as entertaining. I get that each episode is self contained but there is NOTHING happening with the main arc.

I will say this episode was more enjoyable than the rest...Bill Burr was a random surprise.

I did enjoy this episode. Tho what's his face from sons of anarchy and bill burr kinda took me out of it. Seeing all these non star wars people in a star wars setting does weird things to my brain. Except for Carl Weathers. He fits in everywhere.

I did enjoy the segment where Mando was stalking everyone on that prison barge. Tho that chick felt like she was trying to play a poor version of a twi'lek harley quinn. But his fight w/ the droids was pretty boss.

I said this from the first episode and 1000000% agree with everything you are saying here. This show is trash. Absolute trash. The makeup was so poorly done, and the acting was the worst it has been yet. I can't believe people at Disney saw this and said "This is a masterpiece". Oh wait, Star Wars cash cow, doesn't matter.

What the hell are you people expecting out of a DISNEY+ show based on a guy that wears a helmet 100% of the time? Visually the show is a masterpiece. Acting and story telling are fine for a SCIENCE FICTION serial. If you want oscar worthy acting and dialogue then go watch something else.

Perhaps a high bar, but Firefly was one show I’ve used for comparison. Firefly was essentially the cowboy adventures of unlicensed Han Solo. You’d think an actual Star Wars show would approach that level, and it’s way way off.

First off, I purchased a Fire TV Cube (2nd Gen) and this episode was the first thing I streamed on it. The Dolby Vision quality seemed slightly improved over the One X, so that was encouraging. However, audio is still an issue as Disney+ does not do Atmos on either the Xbox or the Fire....in fact, I think its only working on one device (apple maybe?). Anyway....

Why the hell couldnt this show be like this episode ALL the time? This was far and away the best example of what I thought this show was going to be. It didnt do anything overly remarkable, but it felt like a more complete showing of Star Wars.

Hopefully this is a glimpse of whats to come.
