I do think the Bears have the best 2 kickers remaining on the team. Fry kicked well in the recently failed AAF league and Piniero looked like he had the inside track to being the Raiders kicker before he got hurt.

Robbie Gould is still holding out in S.F. He might be available for a trade this year or as a free agent next year.

Neither one will be the Bears kicker. They will grab a veteran that gets cut.

I mean, his whole complaint is stemming from a problem HE created...it was his (and Pace's) decision to cut Gould, and start this circus we're currently in...Even with a shitty kicker, the Bears still won 12 games (and probably would've won a couple more had they had a more reliable kicker). Nagy is just two wins shy of Fox's TOTAL wins for the Bears over 3 seasons...so yeah, I'm not really taking Fox's opinion too seriously.

My brother went to Bears practice. I was going to go but had to wait for roofing material to be delivered to the house. He said Mitch looked like the same old Mitch as last year. Sailing the ball to wide open receivers, not setting his feet and not accurate at all. He said if you didnt know better, you would have thought Chase Daniel was the starter, lol. He said Daniel looked a lot better than Mitch

Regarding the defense. He said Pagano had them running that shit where he would send 4-5 guys from the LB and secondary to rush the QB and have the down lineman drop in to pass coverage. He said it did not work one time against the offense.

Yeah, that lineman drop back play resulted in a TD pass.

It's an interesting concept to have a D lineman cover the middle of the field about 5 yds. deep. That's where most QBs like to go when they're getting pressure. Looks like the Bears need more practice at it.

Also, Trubisky is playing against the 1s. Khalil and Floyd are creating some havoc in the backfield. The tackles are having a difficult time against them. Hopefully, the tackles will learn by going against great talent and be better against lesser OLBs.

What I heard is Trubisky is accurate some of the time and not accurate other times. Good thing he gets training camp/preseason to improve.

Disappointingly, I have heard that WR Anthony Miller has seemed average so far.

Wims and Marvin Hall have been looking good in camp. Wims has good body control besides being a smart player and Hall is outrunning the DBs. Riley Ridley is injured and not practicing so Wims and Hall are getting a lot of work.

So that would be called inconsistent?
Had training camp/preseason last year on top of 16 games to improve and still hasnt from reports coming out of camp. He is going to be average at best as a bunch of us have been saying since he was drafted.

They are raving about Wims again, but he showed out in pre-season last year and barely played during the regular season. Training camp/preseason are 2 different animals

I'm still saying Anthony Miller is going to be the real deal
