Bills just took RB Singletary with the next pick. He's the guy I thought the Bears might get if they stayed at their 87 pick. They thought enough of Montgomery to move up.

He's bigger than Singletary, 5'11" 219 compared to Singletary's 5'7" 203.

Can be a 1st and 2nd down back with some 3rd down thrown in.

Bears should be set at RB again. They have Davis from free agency as well.

One of Andy Reid's failings, IMO, is he doesn't draft for character. He's lost Hunt and, probably, Hill. Lost guys in Philly, too.

I'm glad Nagy is the opposite and drafts for good character, team players.

Seems to be what Gruden and Mayock are doing too, their picks so far seem like better locker room and life players than others with maybe a little more talent but questionable character. I am 100% fine with this.

Think about the Chiefs weā€™re going to be contenders for awhile, but theyā€™re killing themselves with off field issues.

Sounds like a 3 down type of back, can run between the tackles, and is an accomplished receiver. Means more wide splits for Cohen. Opens up the offense more.

They also just nabbed a receiver, which I didnā€™t think theyā€™d do. But from I can tell, heā€™s a great route runner (some say best route runner in the draft) but tested poorly at the combine which caused him to drop. Could be a great value for a 4th.

Bears could still use some help in the secondary still, wish they wouldā€™ve used one of these picks on a corner

Yeah, they're swooping in for several UDFAs.

TE Dax Raymond from Utah State.

Notre Dame linemen center Sam Mustipher and guard Alex Bars are reunited with coach Harry Hiestand in Chicago. Hiestand knows these guys well having coached them at ND.

K John Baron II from San Diego State University.

Missouri wide receiver Emanuel Hall. Deep threat with speed.

Between the draft and UDFA, the Bears are really working on improving the Offense which was 21st last year. :bigthumb:

Bonus fact: Riley Ridley has a 75% contested catch success rate! He's one of the best route runners in the draft.
