I was in the northwoods last weekend. The Harley Tamahawk rally was going on and I have never seen so many bikes or cops in the northwoods. I follow a few local news organizations up there and it seemed like every few hours they were reporting on another motorcycle crash. It seemed to me like the majority of these Harley riders give zero fucks about safety. 90% of them were not wearing helmets or protective gear, riding over the center lines, speeding, riding 2-3 bikes side by side, etc. It didn't help that most of these guys went from bar to bar up here drinking. I would venture to say most were drunk driving and I hope the northwoods police made a ton of arrests. Shocking to me to hear about motorcycle safety, "share the road", "start seeing motorcycles" and other safety campaigns then see how these guys actually ride. Start riding safe and we wouldn't have so many fatalities.

Pretty much any motorcycle rally, for that matter. Aside from certain rides such as Toys for Tots, etc, they almost always end up being shit shows.
