With Harper growing like a weed and participating in more toddler activities I figured it was time to get a vehicle better suited to our needs. The Cooper has been OK, but I needed something that could keep up with her sticky fingers and sassy attitude, plus I wanted to make sure I could get her to all her activities on time.
I considered the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna, but I ended up purchasing a...

Jeez and I already think we need a bigger SUV than our Explorer and we just have a 5 month old. I couldn’t imagine packing all our shit into that...lol

We’ve basically just had a single diaper bag (back pack) and a stroller since Harper was born.

We take the Rover whenever we go some place where we may have needed any significant amount of stuff, and that has rear DVD so she can watch curious George or whatever while in route

Side note: now is the time to pull the trigger on these things if your thinking about it.

Dealer fiscal year close out is Dec 31st, but there is a 1.9% financing option for up to 72 months until Jan 2nd. Made it really easy to play hardball with the dealer because they basically have until Dec 31st to sell, but a consumer has until Jan 2nd to buy. We Ended up at 10% off MSRP, which was about $1,000 under invoice, which is pretty unheard of for STIs.

Are these new ones mod friendly like the older ones were?

Motor is fundamentally the same since 2005, just lots and lots of little incremental improvements. As of 18 specifically the suspension is far better, and they added a lot of additional insulation, thicker glass, and a more tame exhaust. It’s definitly more ‘grown up’ inside but still has a fantastic feel and sense of urgency about it.

I like that gen Sti amd if they had another 100hp I would have bought one along time ago.

With my 2 kids the Mustang is an awful daily.

Why an extra 100hp? It’s like 2/10ths off a 15 S550 in the quarter stock for stock with the 310 it has on tap?
