Last week, UK-based Severn Valley Motorsport took its 2000-horsepower Qashqai to a VMAX200 airfield runway event, where it shattered the Land Speed Cruiser's top speed record by setting a speed of 237 mph under the control of driver Mike Little. That is really fast.
In order to make a Qashqai go that fast, the body had to be grafted onto a full Nissan GT-R driveline, including the trick transmission and differential setup. Severn Valley Motorsports used its own fully forged GT-R engine, paired with two massive turbochargers from ETS, as well as an AMS carbon intake manifold. Keeping everything on the pavement is a custom KW Suspension setup.
