Any Ecoboost is awful. And not the exhaust, but the cheap-sounding electronic augmentation they blast inside.

Also, the Fiat 500 Abarth should be tops.

I will say, the F-150's are the most awful. The transverse application cars/suvs have at least a nice growl, but the trucks are just straight hot garbage.

I've never minded the GT though. It's got a satisfying growl and doesn't get overly raspy like some V6's can, and like what most EcoBoosts have.

Some people have been experimenting with homemade Helmholtz resonators to varying degrees of success with the EcoBoost cars and trucks. I just don't understand how they could make the Duratecs sound SOOOOO bad, when they sound pretty decent NA.
