yeah i use carbotechs, actually the ones i just picked up are g-locs. same compound though. i'm on 8/8, going to see how i like 10/10 next or if i notice any difference in feel or pad deposit, although i don't believe i'm getting them particularly hot. in fact, i ordered the 10's pre-bed because i was worried i wouldn't be able to get them hot enough.

i've always been advised to run the same compound front/rear to not change any bias. it seems most cars benefit from pushing bias rearward at some point, the more aggressive compound only in front will push it more forward though.

Unless your rotors and calipers are same size front and rear you will always have front bias, no? This set up was recommended to me by carbotech based on my experience. I'll give it a whirl [emoji23]. Watch out walls!!! [emoji23]

I always run 10/8 or 12/10, I'd rather have too much front brake than too much rear brake.

Configuration: Full Course
Car Driven: 2017 Camaro ZL1 A10
Tires: Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar Gen3 (OEM tire)
Lap Time: 2:54:51

(there are 2 laps in the vid, the best is the last lap -- well, best that day, the car has more in it, I just need to brake later in a couple places and not have it on/off raining and making it damp)

Other than Motul RBF600 in the lines, the car is 100% stock.

Nice! Does this mean we'll have another awesome car on unofficial TCG track days?

LAPS is going to Gingerman on the 19/20th of this month, a few friends of mine are probably going to go up there (haven't figured out a day yet) if you're interested. Gingerman might be a little boring for your car though, it's not really a fast track like RA or AB full.

I've got a corp telephony systems migration on the 16th with a push back date of the 18th, so I can't risk it. I appreciate the head-up and offer though. I'll be at my desk working that and a couple new acquisitions that need domain integrations as well.

I've really only stuck to RA and now ACC, so I would like to try out more courses.. This car is a real blast to drive and I'm sure RA will really let it shine.

I was pounding away on my (then) 2016 Camaro 2SS last year up at RA.. I didn't opt for the 6pots, so I had basic GM 4pots, OE pads/rotors and like the ZL1, only Motul 600 in the lines. I was kicking out 2:50 - 2:53 or so a lap when I wasn't stuck in traffic.. So, not all that bad for being a slushybox A8 on 245/275 GY F1 Asym3 RFTs. There was more in it as well, but these are my daily cars, so I don't go full 10/10ths in it as I still need to drive them home, to the store, etc.. So, I push to the limit my bank account is comfortable with. --- Also, I don't want to be "that guy" that gets a session black flagged because I was chasing tenths that don't ultimately win anyone anything.

This eLSD should be a lot of fun through the carousel.

 what type of corp telephony system migration? I just wrapped up a 4-5 year stent doing migrations to SfB enterprise voice and have pretty significant cisco voip background.

Porting out some Sales / Acct Mgrs from Five9 in to Ring Central. I've had them in FWD mode for months now waiting on other areas and the two carriers to agree to hand off and take over.. Thankfully, it's allowed me to get all the queues, groups, ivrs, scripts, escalations, etc. all built up in the new side and still lightly deprovision out the old side.

Though, I'll still have to hurriedly run through the TN reassign as the gaining carrier refuses to do anything after hours, so I get to move all these people at 10am.. /Joy.

It's still better than 2y ago when I had to port out 2800 toll-frees and 150 locals from Cisco UCM in to Five9 and then rebuild all those call center IVRs, prompts and flows.. Apparently, no one before me had ever documented the telephony system properly, so I had to rev engr the whole thing (and it was of course a total nest of goes nowhere/does nothing paths) and then convert it to how Five9 likes it done, then train everyone how to use the system.

The best part was.. Five9 doesn't have replication from Primary to Alternate Domain, so everything I did, I had to do twice... And, they can't import csvs for number to queue matching, so I got to manually select 5600 toll frees and 300 locals and apply them to the proper queues all one at a time. :jg:

Much appreciated... Just picked up some new fancy tools and canopy for Oct @ RA.. Hoping to get some great times there, assuming Wisconsin weather doesn't dump me two days of rain..

I'm not going through the Kink on F1 SC Gen3s in the rain on a RWD only car... I like having my car and body intact and not a fan of vehicular ping pong.
