Anyone here in IT data center field that needs a new position?
I believe we will be looking for someone soon. It's contact position. Do your job and good possibility of being full time if you are good.
Job requires you to be on your feet for 8 hours and do hardware repair on servers.
8am-5pm M-F
Need someone with experience. I also need someone reliable. I don't like to train people then have them no show up or be late a lot. just can't handle it

Yo Gamble...I can send my little bro's resume your way but he doesn't have much experience. However his lack of experience he will make up in reliability and consistency...you wont find anyone more reliable, I can assure you. Oh and he's a quick learner. LMK if interested. He can start ASAP...elk grove is 30 mins from where we live. shoot me a text if you want also..773-984-9986

Really? Other places around here for infrastructure jobs don't pay nearly as much. I have looked. Chase was only 20/hr and that was overnight and 12 hr shifts.

For a DC Tech position this is pretty good coin; It's not a 100K/year position based on when I was working the data centers anyways.

Ya I feel like salary for these positions dropped in the past 10 years or so. When I was 23-25 I was making 70k a year with OT doing the same thing. Now, not so much. I hear walgreens pays 30-32 if you do overnight. But you still have to dress up.
Its nice hear, you can wear almost whatever you want, and once you are trained, put on your headphones and go to work alone and not be bothered. you have your list of things to do and just carry it out. No networking aspect of things either. if there was a lot of sys admin or networking stuff those jobs typically pay more.

This.

For all intents and purposes this is an unskilled IT job. These aren't sys admins basically just operators. Any monkey can swap hardware.

exactly, just give me a monkey that works lol
Need someone who can think outside of the box. You train with me too and i teach you everything you need to know. you are a reflection on me so I need someone that will bust their ass.
